CSNChicago.com is your top destination on the road to the 2014 high school football season. CSN preps contributor “Edgy” Tim O’Halloran will take a look at 100 teams in 100 days, counting down to the opening night kickoff on Aug. 29th.

School: Oswego East

Head coach: Tyson LeBlanc

Assistant Coaches: Dan Dunbar, Andy Brogan, Jeremy Main, Ryan Velasquez, Dru Filkins, Erik Aister, Zac Sadek

Biggest storyline in 2014: Can the Wolves match or surpass their 2013 success this fall? The Wolves last season made the state playoffs for the first time in their short school history.

Name to watch: Senior LB Zach Prinz (6-foot-0, 200 pounds) led the Wolves defense a season ago and Prinz looks primed for another big year in 2014.

Biggest Hole To Fill: The Wolves will need to replace their entire starting defensive line from a season ago.

EDGY's Early Take: Head coach Tyson LeBlanc has been able to turn around the entire Oswego East football program over the past few seasons. In 2014, the Wolves again have a chance to be state playoff-bound. Oswego East remains a real program on the rise in the Southwest Prairie conference.
