Notre Dame landed a verbal commitment this evening from Bolingbrook 2015 DL Micah Dew-Treadway (6-foot-5, 273 pounds) while Dew-Treadway and his family made an on campus visit.
"I just gave Notre Dame my commitment," Dew-Treadway said. "My Mom was in tears and my entire family is just overjoyed."
Dew-Treadway pointed towards Notre Dame being the only school that fits his original recruiting game plan.

"When I went into this recruiting deal my family and I had three goals. The first was to find a great school academically. The second goal was to find a school that would help me grow and develop from a football perspective. Lastly, we wanted to find a school that would help me develop spiritually. Spiritually not just from a religious standpoint but from also being able to develop into a good man. We found that at Notre Dame, and they are the only school that helped me find answers all three of those goals and so much more. That's why I committed today to Notre Dame."
Dew-Treadway becomes the 10th known verbal commitment for the Fighting Irish in the Class of 2015. Dew-Treadway also joins Cary-Grove offensive guard Trevor Ruhland (6-foot-4, 270 pounds) as the second Chicagoland verbal commitment for Notre Dame.
