In an effort to help the victims of the devastating tornadoes that struck Central Illinois last weekend, Comcast SportsNet and the IHSA will partner up to televise the Class 5A semifinal matchup between Washington High School and Sacred Heart-Griffin High School on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 1 p.m.
Throughout the CSN telecast, viewers will be urged to make a donation to the Red Cross Central Illinois Tornado Response Relief efforts by contacting 1-800-RED CROSS or by visiting redcross.org.
"In the aftermath of Saturday's devastating tornadoes in the town of Washington and throughout numerous areas of Central Illinois, Comcast SportsNet will utilize this opportunity to not only present what promises to be an excellent preps football playoff match-up between two standout teams, but also to provide our viewers with vital Red Cross donation information to help make a difference in the lives of those affected by this tragic occurrence, President of Comcast SportsNet Chicago James J. Corno said.
The tandem of Lee Hall (play-by-play) and James "Boomer" Grigsby (analyst) will announce Saturday's game. CSN's Jen Lada will handle the sideline reporting with interviews from Washington High School coaches, administrators, parents and fans during the contest.

In addition to the game, CSN's Kelly Crull will visit the town of Washington for a special report which will air on Thursday night's "SportsNet Central". The feature will include interviews and footage demonstrating how the community is pulling together in the wake of Sunday's tragic events.
