Players to watch: Senior guard Antonio Williams has been a varsity fixture for a few seasons while junior Tyler Chisom got a lot of positive remarks from Division I coaches the last few months. Sophomore Jordan Morris has also shown positive flashes of play this fall.
Did you know?: Cedric McCullough was officially named the new head coach just last week after being the program's interim coach since last December.
Why they're in the Power Rankings: The distraction of former head coach Donnie Boyce's suspension during last season was ultimately too much for Proviso East to deal with. Now with the coaching situation resolved, the Pirates have plenty of talent and some senior leadership to have a great year.
