Players to watch: Senior forward Nick Robinson is committed to Indiana State and he brings a lot of versatility and experience to the Broncos. Senior guard Zion Morgan is one of the best uncommitted players left in Illinois. The return of junior big man Manny Patterson from injury should help Kenwood a lot on the interior.

Did you know?: Kenwood's Red-Central title last season was the first conference title in that league in school history. Things will be tougher for the Broncos this year as Curie is back in the league.

Why they're in the Power Rankings: Already a fixture in the CSN Preps Power Rankings last season, Kenwood returns nearly their entire roster and now get the boost of a healthy Patterson and some key transfers. Kenwood looked tough this summer, as they took down Simeon at Riverside-Brookfield, and they won't be scared of the bright lights this season. This team is talented enough to win a city and state title.
