Players to watch: Junior guard Nojel Eastern could be the most talented player in the state this season if he's totally healthy. While Eastern was gone this summer, others stepped up in his place and players like Micquel Roseman and Jerome Bynum stepped up their play.

Did you know? Evanston will go out-of-state for the holidays as they'll participate in the King of the Bluegrass Holiday Classic in Kentucky against some tough national competition.

Why they're in the Power Rankings: Eastern is a prime candidate for the CSN All-Area team, but the Wildkits proved over the summer that they have plenty of talent besides their star. Head coach Mike Ellis has also been successful in the postseason and the combination is there for a potentially big season.
