No. 1 Bolingbrook

2013 record: 10-1 (7-0); finished first in the Southwest Suburban Blue. Lost to Marist, 21-7, in Class 8A quarterfinals.

Why did the Raiders make the CSN Preps Power Rankings? Bolingbrook brings back a loaded defense and plenty of potential on offense.

Areas of concern? Can Bolingbrook's offense show more production in 2014? Can they get into a shootout if/when required?

It will be a good season if: the Raiders defense, with six potential DI-level players live up to the preseason hype.

Headliners? Senior defensive end Micah Dew-Treadway (6-foot-4, 280 pounds) gave Notre Dame his verbal commitment earlier this summer.

Biggest game? Hosting Homewood-Flossmoor on Friday, Oct. 10.
