CSNChicago.com is your top destination on the road to the 2015 high school football season. CSN preps contributor “Edgy” Tim O’Halloran will take a look at 100 teams in 100 days, counting down to the opening night kickoff on Aug. 28.

No. 11 Loyola Academy

2014 Record: 11-3 (2-2); Finished third in the Chicago Catholic League Blue Conference in 2014. The Ramblers beat Warren Township then lost to eventual state champion Stevenson in Class 8A second round action.

Why did the Ramblers make the @CSNPreps Power Rankings?
The Ramblers bring back plenty of experience on offense and when hasn't head coach John Holocek and staff not been able to bring the defense to the forefront?

Areas of concern heading into the 2015 season? Loyola Academy senior defensive tackle Ben Leroy (NIU) is the lone returning starter on defense.

It will be a good season if:
The offense takes another step forward and allows the green Rambler defense time to gain experience.

Headliners?
Senior TE Eric Eshoo (Northwestern) is a name to watch along with senior DT Ben Leroy (NIU).

Biggest Game of 2015? October 24th hosting Mount Carmel. If the Ramblers get off to a good start or a bad start, this Week 9 game will take on even more significance.

Did You Know? Loyola Academy head coach John Holocek is just 4 wins shy of 100 career wins (96-24 in his 10th season).
