No. 15 St. Rita
2013 record: 12-2 (3-1); finished in a three-way tie for first in the Chicago Catholic League Blue in 2013; beat Simeon in the annual Prep Bowl 35-20.

Why did the Mustangs make the CSN Preps Power Rankings? St. Rita again has a great mix of returning starters and depth. The Mustangs and head coach Todd Kuska welcomes back 12 starters, including seven back on defense.
Areas of concern heading into the 2014 season? The Mustangs will need to settle on a quarterback who can run the offense and provide a play action passing threat.

It will be a good season if: the Mustangs can run and throw the ball and the defense picks up where it left off in 2013.
Headliners? Senior linebacker Matt Mitchell will be a three-year starter in 2014 and a key leader on defense.
Biggest game in 2014? September 19th vs Mount Carmel. The Mustangs lost not once but twice to its biggest rival in 2013. That's just not acceptable in the St. Rita world.
