2013 record: 12-2 (3-1); finished tied for first in the CCL Blue. Lost to Naperville Central, 13-10, in the Class 8A finals.

Areas of concern? Can the Ramblers offense be ready to go in Week 1? The schedule won't allow Loyola to ease into anything.

It will be a good season if: Loyola's defense plays at their usual high level and the offense develops each week.
Headliners? Senior wide receiver Owen Buscaglia was Loyola's leading receiver last season. Also, keep an eye on senior linebacker Cal Falkenhayn.
Biggest game? Loyola Academy goes head-to-head with Mount Carmel on Oct. 24 at Gately Stadium.
