No. 4 Simeon Wolverines

2014 record: 11-2 (5-0) finished first in the CPL Illini Red Bird Conference. The Wolverines beat Downers Grove South, Hinsdale Central and Naperville Central before losing to Homewood-Flossmoor in the Class 8A semifinals.

Why did the Wolverines make the @CSNPreps Power Rankings? Simeon welcomes back several starters from last year's semifinal team.

Areas of concern heading into the 2015 season? The Wolverines will need to reload at a few key spots, in particular in the offensive skills.

It will be a good season if: The Wolverines huge offensive line allows the offense to ball control teams off the field.

Headliners? Senior offensive lineman Terrell Maclin-Dupree and senior offensive/defensive lineman Keevin Agee are leaders up front for the Wolverines.

Biggest game of 2015? Sept. 12 vs. Phillips. The top two Chicago Public League teams square off in this terrific city crossover showdown.

Did you know? Senior quarterback Dakota Turner is the son of former Mount Carmel, Nebraska and NFL wide receiver Nate Turner.
