1. Whitney Young (26-3)
#PrepsTalk: The Dolphins put on a slam dunk contest in their 79-53 regional championship win over De La Salle. Now, the challenge: Curie on Tuesday. A win there would put Young in the sectional finals against Simeon or DuSable.

2. Morgan Park (28-3)
#PrepsTalk: Billy Garrett Jr. and company won their regional games by an average margin of 50 points. Will anybody challenge them in the 3A St. Laurence sectional? Fenger will give it a shot on Tuesday.

3. Simeon (26-3)
#PrepsTalk: Jabari Parker's double-double (19 points, 10 rebounds) was more than enough for the Wolverines in a 66-31 win Friday over Marist. DuSable is on tap in the 4A Argo sectional semifinal.

4. Proviso East (25-3)
#PrepsTalk: A regional championship is nice, but it's Peoria or bust for coach Donnie Boyce and the Pirates. But they'll have a battle come Tuesday: a Glenbard East team that has already beaten West Aurora. Twice.

5. Oswego (27-2)
#PrepsTalk: Elliot McGaughy led the attack for the Panthers with 17 points in a 72-59 win over Bolingbrook to clinch the 4A Batavia regional. Tuesday's showdown against West Aurora will be one to watch.

6. Bloom (25-3)
#PrepsTalk: Like Proviso East, Bloom is trying to reach Peoria for the second consecutive year. The Blazing Trojans face Stagg Wednesday. A victory there could set up an all-Chicago Heights sectional semifinal with...

7. Marian Catholic (27-3)
#PrepsTalk: The Spartans hit the gas late to escape from Crete-Monee 52-37 on Friday. Tyler Ulis finished with 20 points. M-C now faces an underrated Joliet West team in Tuesday's 4A Thornton sectional semifinal.

8. Neuqua Valley (28-2)
#PrepsTalk: Say what you want about the Argo sectional, but the 4A Bolingbrook sectional is equally imposing. Four CSN Top 20 teams are playing: Neuqua, Benet, Oswego and West Aurora. The first two in that list square off Wednesday.

9. Orr (25-3)
#PrepsTalk: Louis Adams Jr. scored 17 points as the Spartans won the Glenbard South 3A regional title over Montini. Will Marquise Pryor (awaiting clearance from the IHSA) play in the sectionals?

10. Stevenson (25-4)
#PrepsTalk: Jalen Brunson's 19 points helped the Patriots to defeat Waukegan 76-47 Friday night. Up next: another North Suburban Lake rival as Mundelein comes calling. Tipoff is 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the 4A Waukegan sectional.

11. Benet (26-5)
#PrepsTalk: It's Sean O'Mara and the Redwings against Neuqua Valley Wednesday night at the 4A Bolingbrook sectional. Benet advanced by defeating Naperville Central 62-36. Pat McInerney tallied 19 points.

12. Maine South (28-3)
#PrepsTalk: Niles West was no match for Maine South in the 4A regional championship. Frank Dounis scored 14 points in a 54-32 victory. A familiar foe (Niles North) awaits in the 4A Glenbrook North sectional.

13. North Chicago (26-3)
#PrepsTalk: Like Morgan Park, the Warhawks buzz-sawed their regional, winning by an average of 42 points per game. N-C will face Chicago's Uplift HS Tuesday in the 3A Antioch sectional.

14. Niles North (26-4)
#PrepsTalk: How about the job Malachi Nix did Friday against Loyola: 39 points, 30 of them in the second half. And now, the rematch with Maine South. The Hawks beat the Vikings on February 22nd to earn the CSL title.

15. Notre Dame (23-5)
#PrepsTalk: Matt Mooney had 25 points for the Dons in a 54-48 win over Foreman on Friday. It sets up a Wednesday date with New Trier in the 4A Glenbrook North sectional semifinal.

16. Hillcrest (22-6)
#PrepsTalk: Did you know that, over the 25 straight years that Hillcrest has won conference, they have won the regional in 18 of those years? Jovan Mooring's Hawks face Providence Wednesday (3A Rich South sectional).

17. Glenbard East (21-6)
#PrepsTalk: Jaron Hall racked up 23 points Friday against Conant as the Rams earn another regional plaque. Now it's off to the Schaumburg sectional. Can they give the Pirates a run?

18. West Aurora (24-6)
#PrepsTalk: 6-7 Blackhawks center Josh McAuley scored a game-high 18 points as West Aurora took down Geneva 45-37 Friday night. Can they find a way to slow down Oswego?

19. Curie (19-7)
#PrepsTalk: With Michigan State coach Tom Izzo in attendance, the Condors put on a show Friday against Bogan, winning 77-62. It'll be Cliff Alexander vs. Jahlil Okafor on Wednesday.

20. Zion-Benton (25-5)
#PrepsTalk: The Zee-Bees are back in the CSN Top 20 after eliminating Fremd 61-46 Friday. They can't afford to look past St. Viator on Tuesday to Friday's potential rematch with Stevenson in the 4A Waukegan sectional final.

Looming and Lurking: Larkin, New Trier, Crystal Lake Central, Lakes, Providence-St. Mel, Seton, York, Joliet West, Wheaton St. Francis, Rich East.
