It's hard enough these days for any high school football player to land a major Division-I scholarship offer, so what are the odds of identical twin brothers landing offers both from the same school?
The Huff brothers seem to be beating those odds, so far.
Bolingbrook junior linebacker Julian Huff (6-foot-0, 220 pounds) and his identical twin brother, junior defensive back Jacob Huff (6-foot-0, 215 pounds), added their latest offer from Toledo after making a Junior Day visit.
Toledo is the third offer for the Huff brothers so far, joining earlier offer from Illinois State and Central Michigan.
"Toledo was just a great visit," according to Julian Huff. "They are in the middle of doing some major renovations to the facilities so we didn't get to see too much of the facilities. We did have a lot of time to talk to the coaches and they seem like great guys. It was just good to get to know the coaches face to face. They have a ton of success and Toledo is a winner year in and year out."
So the big question is will the Huff brothers take their act to the same college?
"We've been asked that a lot lately. It's a tough question to answer," Jacob Huff said. "We are twins, but we both also have our own opinions and ideas about things. It would be great to play together at the same school in college. If we both love a school and decide that it's the best place for us, then great. It all just depends on a lot of different factors. It will be a tough decision and for now we just want to see what our options will be and then make a decision from there."
