CSN Chicago’s High School Lites will have cameras across the city and suburbs Friday night, including one of the top rivalry games in Illinois as No. 1 ranked Mount Carmel travels to No. 10 ranked St. Rita. Plus, we'll head north for a prime North Suburban Lake showdown between Lake Forest and No. 2 ranked Lake Zurich. And, can Muscle Milk Team of the Week Hinsdale Central win in Glen Ellyn on Saturday with a backup quarterback? Here is a rundown of this weekend’s top games and the highlights you will see Friday night at 11 p.m. on High School Lites:

Barrington at Schaumburg, 7 p.m.

EDGY's Take: Big Mid Suburban West showdown as Barrington (4-0) has relied on standout senior QB Dan Kubiuk yet the Barrington defense has also played well as of late. Schaumburg (4-0) also has several weapons including speedy senior QB Stacey Smith and the Saxons have a ton of speed on both sides of the football this season. Both have scored a ton of points so far in 2013 and can either team's defense show up?

Prediction: Schaumburg 41, Barrington 38

(6) Lincoln-Way East at (18) Homewood-Floosmoor, 7:30 p.m.

EDGY's Take: Both the Griffins (4-0) and the Vikings (4-0) have been cruising along, that is until this week in Floosmoor. Senior OC Nick Allegretti is a leader for the Griffins in 2013 and East seems to have settled on a starting quarterback in senior Jordan Wirtz. Homewood-Floosmoor will counter with senior QB Isaac Cutera and the Vikings always seem to play big in big games under head coach Craig Buzea. The winner here gets a big early leg up in the Southwest Suburban Blue race.

Prediction: Lincoln-Way East 21, H-F 14

(3) Loyola @ Brother Rice, 7:30 p.m.

EDGY's Take: Loyola (4-0) was able to pull off a win at home last Saturday over Providence, 28-16, yet the Ramblers defense allowed way too many yards and Providence too many chances in the red zone. Loyola's offense is led by senior QB Jack Penn and also senior RB Julius Holley. Brother Rice is up against the wall after a 1-3 start. The Crusaders will need a big game from QB Alex Alarcon, yet as Rice proved last week they still has plenty of fire here and could surprise.

Prediction: Loyola 28, Brother Rice 14

[EDGY TIM: A day in 1A with the Fisher Bunnies

(1) Mount Carmel at (10) St. Rita, 7:30 p.m.

EDGY's Take: One of the oldest and best rivalry games in Chicago. Can St. Rita (4-0) and it's offense led by senior QB Tommy Mister dent a Caravan defense which has been locking down all comers so far this season? Can the Caravan (4-0) score in a hurry if the Mustangs quick strike? Can the Mustangs defense get the football away from the Caravan veer option game and standout RB Matt Domer (Illinois)?

Prediction: Mount Carmel 31, St. Rita 27 OT

Lake Forest @ (2) Lake Zurich 7:30 p.m.

EDGY's Take: This North Suburban Lake opener for both features a wide open and explosive offense (Lake Forest) against one of the state's best defenses (Lake Zurich)? Lake Forest senior RB Hub Cirame has been the workhorse for the Scouts offense so far in 2013 and stopping him is priority No. 1 for Lake Zurich. The Bears have shown a rare passing game this season with senior QB Noah Allgood, and the defense is led by Syracuse commit senior LB Colton Moskal. Can the Scouts score against the Bears defense? Can the Scouts defense get the ball back from the Bears offense?

Prediction: Lake Zurich 31, Lake Forest 10

Vernon Hills @ Stevenson 7:30 p.m.

EDGY's Take: It's Father (Stevenson head coach Bill McNamara) versus Son (Vernon Hills QB Connor McNamara) this week in Lincolnshire. Vernon Hills (1-3) picked up it's first win last week as sophomore QB Connor McNamara has been playing well since taking over for injured senior starter QB Jordan Friebrun. Stevenson (2-2) has turned around it's fate winning two straight games. The Patriots will try to recover from the loss of senior OL Zach Novoselsky (Western Michigan) who suffered a broken leg last week.

Prediction: Stevenson 32, Vernon Hills 12

Seneca @ Wilmington 7:30 p.m.

EDGY's Take: Terrific Interstate 8 showdown here as Wilmington (4-0) and veteran head coach Jeff Reents will rely on senior FB/LB Austin Skoryl and a defense that has allowed just 19 points in four games. Seneca (4-0) will look towards senior QB Bo Taylor who has been leading a Fighting Irish running game averaging over 300 yards a game in 2013.

Prediction: Wilmington 27, Seneca 16

(17) Marist at (13) Joliet Catholic @ Joliet Memorial Stadium 7:30 p.m.

EDGY's Take: A classic battle here between Air (Marist) versus Ground (Joliet Catholic). Marist (4-0) has a terrific passing attack with senior QB Jack Donegan plus Notre Dame commit WR Nic Weishar, junior D-1 WR Flynn Nagel and senior RB Peter Andreotti (Purdue/wrestling). Joliet Catholic (4-0) counters with senior RB Mike Ivlow and a big and physical offensive line. Can the Marist defense stop Mike Ivlow? Can JCA's defense slow down the Redhawks air attack? Expect a lot of offense and points here.

Prediction: Marist 56, Joliet Catholic 52

Leo @ Fenton 7:30 p.m.

EDGY's Take: Both Leo (4-0) and Fenton (4-0) are both nice surprises so far in 2013. The Fenton Bison have been running the football more in 2013 with RB Alex Cowan yet senior QB Willie Wassman is still very effective and gives the Bison offense balance. Leo will counter with QB Mallik Prince and the Lions always have speed and talent even with limited overall numbers. Will Leo be sharp this week after having to take a 1-0 forfeit win over St. Francis DeSales after the Pioneers decided to drop football for the 2013 season?

Prediction: Fenton 24, Leo 22

(16) Hinsdale Central at (7) Glenbard West (7) Saturday 1:30 p.m.

EDGY's Take: The Red Devils (3-1) will need to rely on converted senior TE/LB Jacob White as it's new quarterback after starting QB Chase Hamilton was injured in last week's 30-7 win over York. Glenbard West (3-1) has been on fire after a tough Week 1 loss to Wheaton South (4-0) as the Hilltoppers will rely on senior RB Scott Andrews along with a very quick and physical defense including senior S Hayden Carlson. Can the Red Devils move the ball against the Hilltoppers defense?

Prediction: Glenbard West 37, Hinsdale Central 12
