This week's show features a lot of big matchups involving ranked teams as High School Lites has a lot of great games.

The Public League will be showcased extensively in this week's show as the Red-South and Red-West both have two matchups while the Red-North also has an important showdown. The ESCC will also have two big conference tilts including the game I'll be at this week No. 9 Benet taking on No. 24 St. Patrick. There is also a rematch of the Hinsdale Central Holiday Classic title game as No. 10 Homewood-Flossmoor heads to No. 3 Bolingbrook in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.

This week's Wintrust Players of the Week is Crete-Monee senior guard Dwayne Rose. The Toledo commit is having a strong senior season as he's the nephew of former Simeon star Derrick Rose.

THURSDAY

Bogan at No. 5 Morgan Park, 5:00 p.m. -- This Red-South rivalry gets renewed as Bogan heads to Morgan Park. The Bengals (9-5, 3-2) beat Brooks in conference play earlier this week as they've looked like a more complete team recently. Morgan Park (10-2, 4-1) ran past Harlan as junior guard Ayo Dosunmu is having a stellar season.

Viewers' Choice Game of the Week

Brooks at No. 1 Simeon, 5:00 p.m. -- Our Viewers' Choice Game of the Week keeps us in the Red-South as No. 1 Simeon hosts Brooks. The Wolverines (13-0, 5-0) have been the best team in the state this season as senior Evan Gilyard (UTEP) has a talented supporting cast around him. Brooks (10-6, 2-3) is trying to bounce back from the loss to Bogan earlier this week.

FRIDAY

No. 7 Orr at No. 25 North Lawndale, 6:00 p.m. -- Both of these teams are coming off of tight Red-West wins on Wednesday. Orr (8-1, 3-1) needed a late block from junior Raekwon Drake to help secure a win over Westinghouse while North Lawndale (12-3, 3-1) took a tight win over Farragut. Senior Carlos Hines (Northern Arizona) continues to score at a high level for the Phoenix.

Lincoln Park at No. 8 Uplift, 6:15 p.m. -- An important clash in the battle of the Red-North as the Lions head to Uplift. Lincoln Park (8-7, 3-1) is trying to keep pace with Uplift as they put together a double-digit win over Lane earlier this week. Uplift (12-4, 4-0) secured a win over Taft in conference play as they rely on the Jacobs brothers, senior Demarius (Southern Illinois) and sophomore Markese (Kansas) to handle most of the scoring.

Westinghouse at No. 4 Whitney Young, 6:30 p.m. -- We head back to the Red-West in this one as Westinghouse tries to shake off a close loss to Orr. Senior Coreyon Rushin is having a solid season as he leads Westinghouse (7-7, 1-3), a team that is more dangerous than their record would appear. Whitney Young (10-4, 3-0) is coming off a road win at Marshall where senior Lucas Williamson again stepped up.

No. 9 Benet at No. 24 St. Patrick, 7:00 p.m. -- This one should be a ton of fun in the ESCC as Benet heads to St. Patrick. The Redwings (11-3, 1-1) are led by seniors Jack Nolan and Liam Lyman while junior Justin Enochs is having a solid season. St. Patrick (14-2, 2-0) is coming off a win over Niles West earlier this week. This team has talented guards like Xavier Pinson and Jalen Nelson while senior Alton Thompson is a great athlete on the wing.

Marian Catholic at No. 14 Marist, 7:00 p.m. -- The ESCC has another good one on Friday with Marian Catholic trying to end Marist's unbeaten season. The Spartans (10-5, 1-1) are led by junior point guard Chase Adams as they've played a very tough schedule so far. They'll be prepared to face unbeaten Marist (18-0, 2-0) a team that has a talented junior point guard of their own in Maurice Commander.

No. 10 Homewood-Flossmoor at No. 3 Bolingbrook, 7:00 p.m. -- This one is a rematch of the Hinsdale Central Holiday Classic championship game as this time it counts in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. The Vikings (11-2, 2-0) are hoping to reverse the loss from last game while the Raiders beat De La Salle earlier this week for another good win.
