CSN Chicago will have cameras covering the biggest high school basketball games across Chicagoland for another basketball edition of High School Lites. Catch the show live at 11 p.m. Friday on CSN and streaming at CSNChicago.com

This week's show has some quality rivalry games as the best matchup comes from the Red-Central, where No. 22 Kenwood plays No. 4 Curie.

We'll also have highlights from the Interstate Eight tournament, Catholic League North, Southwest Prairie, Independent School League and Chicago Prep Red.

This week's Viewers' Choice Game of the Week is a girls basketball game for the first time as Lake Forest faces Warren.

And this week's Wintrust Athlete of the Week is Thornton senior Alonzo Verge as the guard is playing his way onto the All-Area team after returning to the area from Florida.

THURSDAY

No. 22 Kenwood at No. 4 Curie, 5:00 p.m. -- This Red-Central rematch is important as Kenwood is hoping to play better after being embarrassed in the first matchup. Senior Elijah Joiner had 40 points for the Condors (19-2, 9-0) in the first outing as he outscored Kenwood in a 73-39 win. This time the Broncos (15-5, 8-1) will rely on senior Manny Patterson as he's been a major double-double threat.

FRIDAY

Interstate Eight Tournament (Third place and championship), 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. -- This event always has great games and a great crowd as we head back to Coal City for a doubleheader.

No. 8 Joliet West at Romeoville, 6:30 p.m. -- Joliet West gets a solid road test in the Southwest Prairie in this one. The Tigers (17-3, 8-0) are coming off of a road loss on Tuesday to No. 2 Bolingbrook as they try to stay unbeaten in conference play. Romeoville (12-7, 6-2) has some talented young players like guards DeAndre Heckard and Mike Salter.

No. 14 Fenwick at St. Joseph, 7:30 p.m. -- The Catholic North has an intriguing game here as the Friars head on the road. Fenwick (15-4, 6-0) is led by some talented seniors like Jacob Keller and Jamal Nixon while St. Joseph (8-9, 3-3) is trying to get back in the conference race after a sluggish start. Sophomore guard Marquise Walker is still one of the most talented players in the area.

DePaul Prep at De La Salle, 7:00 p.m. -- Staying in the Catholic North this one should be intriguing as DePaul Prep tries to stay with the conference's top teams. The Rams (15-6, 5-1) picked up a Tuesday win over Hoffman Estates as they're playing good ball recently. De La Salle (10-7, 3-3) is trying to recover from a sluggish period after a hot start as senior guard Stone Parker has played well.

Francis Parker vs. Latin, 7:30 p.m. -- This rivalry game in the Independent School League should draw a solid crowd on Friday night at DePaul. Francis Parker (7-9, 3-5) is led by senior guard Marc Taylor as they've dropped recent games to Nazareth and Morgan Park Academy. Latin (8-7, 4-2) has some talented sophomores in Ysrael Hernandez and Jackson Tanner. The first time these two played this year

Christ The King at Hope Academy, 7:00 p.m. -- The top two teams in the Chicago Prep Red go at it in this one. Hope Academy (19-3, 5-0) has high hopes in Class 1A as they're hoping to make a run down to Peoria. Christ the King (9-9, 4-1) is the second-place team in the league as they're coming off recent wins over Alcott and Ellison.
