Quest for Gold: Evans goes for gold on different kind of track

Sports run in the familly for Aja Evans. She grew up watching her uncle play baseball and her brother make the Minnesota Vikings.

The South Sider has made it her mission to make the U.S. bobsled team after a career in track and field. She is poised to take the bobsled world by storm, and she's done just that. At a recent World Cup event in Park City, Utah, the United States swept the podium, winning the top three spots, something the U.S. hadn't done since 2001.

Evans won gold and is the only bobsledder to compete in every World Cup event. Evans has big expectations for a sport she once knew very little about. She might just have her coach to thank when all is said and done in Sochi.
