Allen Robinson listed as top-tier WR by ESPN

The Chicago Bears played all of last season without an established No. 1 receiver in the offense, and it showed. If it wasn't for the occasional big play from Jordan Howard and Tarik Cohen, the offense would've struggled even more than it did. The Bears ended the year 30th in total offense and 29th in scoring.

As a result, GM Ryan Pace made it his priority to add more weapons for Mitch Trubisky. His biggest signing was at wide receiver where he added Allen Robinson on a three-year, $42 million deal. The former Jaguar is expected to provide much-needed big-play ability, assuming his knee gets back to 100 percent after suffering a torn ACL in Week 1 last season.

Robinson is as naturally gifted a receiver as there is in the NFL. And that's not just hopeful thinking. He was recently ranked as a Tier 1, Clear No. 1 wideout by ESPN, who predicted he'd receive 25 percent of Chicago's targets in 2018.

Robinson is the first player on our list who changed teams during the offseason, but there's no doubt he's Chicago's No. 1 wideout after signing a three-year, $42 million contract. The former Jaguar went down with a torn ACL after three snaps last year but ranked top eight in the league in targets in both 2015 and 2016. He handled a 25 percent target share both seasons.

Robinson brings 202 career receptions to the Bears with his most impressive season coming in 2015, when he caught 80 passes for 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns. His remarkable 17.5 yards per catch that season is evidence of the kind of dynamic playmaker he can be for Chicago this year.
