Peavy to the hill tonight. He loses out for the all star game two Yu Darvish Brees had a heck of -- year what do you expect out of him the second half of the season. Well it's a little bit of uncharted territory because it's been a long time since Jake Peavy had a full season. Having said that he's held up to everything to this point the other is no real reason to point to him going. Backwards you know he's I think he's -- win was winless in June. But he had an ERA of about two point nine so we still pulling basically as well as he has all year -- no reason to expect that not to continue. Thoughts as a Sox fan yet again his history every time I asked him hit some -- for his arm fall I don't know why it just because. I'm hoping for the best but sometimes -- this history but I outdated thing I would take a win this week was that would be up. The take -- campaign. How cool is that I mean everything that the team did how he responded. Beckham's impersonation that kind of stuff. You see a personality of the team coming out it's a very cool personality I think -- and and again one of the leaders. Is Jake Peavy and I think that's why they they had so much although -- go back something -- -- that as a Sox fan. He would chip in the Philadelphia Phillies for as long as I've known you -- now because they stinking grabbed first place team you commented. Did what they come into -- bar where I work every night cap and I talk Chicago's sports every night and I watched every game every night I'm a lot of root for more than one team. I've been here seventeen years got -- had not won my -- putt on the last five years old all he really is not a whole day now but in Chicago you gotta pick one or the other. You have to pick one I'd pick the Sox have them on the south side. From the bar once look at you'll find out I put a lot of stock. Regular in there you know that. He -- a vote video becoming on assignments -- learned -- from -- -- where I feel TMZ does lifting actually. While calm guy I think. Base he went to -- consider peavy easier almost the success already mean I know he's got to do a little bit more but the way he's thrown in there and come back from this on president surgery and stay healthy. I I have one word that -- -- no these are contending team that is look at like its gonna get to the playoffs he's you know right -- the books. -- look I think the two best things about the White Sox at this point and there are a lot of good things. The way they catch the ball the other infield defense is unbelievable what are all around. I would sit on the bench the other night with some people from Texas -- worked -- they said they take infield every night. Because the White Sox are taking infield -- just the first night of every series what they've given up of the fewest ever run baseball that are coming they do a really good job. And the second thing is the sale he's combo for. One and twos aren't the other I don't know if there is a better when right now baseball where you have what they'll be on both guys a right hander Randall after -- -- like these guys are so. He's got to continually you know I mean that they're gonna play much more important games in the next few months and they've played together. Little bloopers that you think you've exceeded expectations thus far exceeded mine Australia and I just stayed healthy part of the injury I mean obviously he's making a lot of money now. Now they don't they'll -- pedigree is very hot that's what was unprecedented surgery who would have thought he'd be in the all the gods are on sale. It. He also had a very shaky spring training I want I was on a back field and Tucson and I watched his last outing of the spring which was against a collection of White Sox double play in AAA pitchers or hitters. And -- I think they had thirteen hits in seven innings and in the bats were -- he was not this and that and you know the velocity has been about the same as another year's you know 1991. But I think when the season's start he took it up just a little bit of a notch and he's really done a great job of pitching. It's interesting to watch the dynamics when Pierzynski catches and because. Obviously they disagree -- with the -- and who who you know I think he needs a little bit more take charge that the other pitchers on the staff what's -- -- old game. But however they are doing it you know it he's been. Very very good he's held up I think he's had 2120. Hits plus starts. I think that's risky but he's he's held up to it. You really should be on the all star team you know he handled that disappointment very well. And I think there's still a chance that if you know if anything happens any of that thirteen pitchers on the staff he can get a call. To be replacement guy but he definitely. You know he and Chris Sale really both you know I think about among the five best. Starters I was sort of surprised they didn't both give voted on by players.
