That the Republicans are just absolutely get out there -- There there's so many story lines out here and I think one of the biggest things that we can draw from today when you talk to players like JP Jake Peavy obviously. Honored to finally make it here particularly because of the support that he got initially in that final vote. -- Chris Sale making his first appearance he's that he's got the anxiety of the butterflies as it is this kind of like. Getting ready for a typical game you -- he's been absolutely not but I'm nervous I'm excited. He's looking forward to it but a guy like Paul Konerko this as a six time all star game. -- -- hair starling cast and they love the fact. That they can pick the brains of so many other. Only players here they can talk to other all stars in and see the way -- guys prepare see their approach and I think. What they enjoy most is just get to be with other players that they're not used to seeing. On a day to day basis and and just kind of understand the way that they approached the game and and hopefully learn from them to make that their own games that are. I -- serve also and I don't. I just go well are you. Kid the county Kansas City I went to Missouri it's kind of small town really giant who are Villa holiday handling this whole affair I mean. It's it's a huge event and -- just mind boggling to me to think that there is a small town like that can handle all the parties. Well you know what I think you when you take a look at that it's pretty flawless because this is something that they've been preparing for awhile now. Forces say they've had not have a lot to celebrate with the Royals selecting the fact that there is. In large scale events when it comes to baseball here -- there have been so many fans wearing their Royals here but also just so many other fans that have come and on the ballpark you know and a little bit aways from downtown so I think logistically. Getting around it had shuttle buses they've had a lot of you know availability for the media and for fans to get downtown and in the plaza -- Kansas City and a big parade today and many people were out there to see the red carpet special. That Major League Baseball put out with the players so it's been fantastic I think it from my perspective. Has been very easy and I know the players and talking with fans that they really enjoyed it enjoyed the atmosphere. And the people here in Kansas city's again I can't say enough about the. Reforms but they've I'm so far. -- -- -- Hamels then I know he had a very intense discussion with Adam Dunn about his -- color. If you set that aside for a second and just talk baseball with you miffed when people were kind of bringing up last year yesterday -- she got to take it in stride that. People still look and try to put the two years in context with each other. You know what the thing I appreciate most about Adam Dunn is that he will face the media face anyone's. And he is his harshest critic so. When he says that he doesn't wanna talk about last year I think it's from the perspective of he's a guy that shows up every day and within the passes in the past I asked him if he's proud. Of what he's accomplished at some point considering that he had by far the worst year of his career. And he said he doesn't approach it that way each day than today and he said that he thinks. There's even more baseball I'm better Adam Dunn that we can see the second half -- frankly he's not even satisfied with what he's -- And the first half this season despite the turn around -- made.
