All right let's start right there White Sox lose today. In Baltimore dropped three or four in the series and for the first time in a long time Chris we did not get a good start. Out of Jose can -- -- he's had a few issues before and I think we're starting to see maybe the beginning of he's a guy who's just getting tired -- he's that is innings -- he's never been this far before his as far as how many innings he's pitched. And -- for both he and Chris Sale. They're gonna have to worry about keeping those guys fresh and I know that they say that right now they haven't. Made a lot of friends to us to back and look at the nationals were extra days' rest for the gonna kind of have to I think. It's gonna make sure those guys anybody what was -- can kind of knows control. Issues which means. Maybe it tired -- -- a lot times you get you're you're tired you don't get the right slot your body's tired of your legs -- right in. May have to go skip the guys again. And he -- you -- see also pitches this week -- -- ego or -- well a very -- this weekend when so pitches against Verlander C. You know. Has he regroup and be able to do it ordered the need to skipping. And the question is the guy that you're gonna replace them with. Do you have a better chance of that guy than you would would maybe get tired can -- I mean at some point guys are gonna have to fight through this mean -- it's four weeks ago. You know you can only skipped guy's -- spots in rotation and bring guys up so often it's not like you're not fighting for a division title here so they got a great outing from axle -- last night Axelrod I think he's been you know. Pretty decent this year when called upon in tough situations. So you can panic -- him but you know after worry about sailed to a backing him up but who knows what's going our Gavin Floyd. You know your -- basically -- like a one and a half man rotation now one guy Jake Peavy is a guy that still I think every time vitro and everybody's kinda. -- that are brother he's got a lot of innings -- -- him or her will pitch more innings this year these. Pitch in a couple years to know I think to south 2007. Ended when they haven't been -- -- would say about that is. I would be willing to sacrifice one or one start from sale one start from -- Tana. Have axle rod or whoever pitched those games Santiago were. And aura around her and see what happens you still might win -- if that buys them maybe each another couple starts down the stretch for the better. I've for the Detroit perspective let's go live to the motor city bringing Craig Monroe who's this sales for the Tigers television broadcast. Greg everybody's waited all year long for the Tigers to stop on the accelerator thrown in overdrive and who will be gone. It has not happened. They're struggling again against Kansas City the White Sox know about that. What do you see as Detroit without a club -- the White Sox gonna see tomorrow when they get there. Well -- classy and I'm more consistent Detroit tiger team obviously understand that. They haven't been able to put it all together. But at the mentality of this team is that they're gonna play not full innings every single day in Soviet Purdue has always been there but they're just not getting that big hit when he needed are when you get the big hit -- given the pitching performance that -- needed and then when they're doing both of those things. The defense may not who are not making the plays so I feel like with the mentality that this team had you guys are gonna be it's gonna be a fun weekend series. Hey Craig this is Dave van -- and attribute. Berlin that sale was not so good this last time around neither was Verlander is is there a chance of Verlander is getting tired to each each pitched a lot of innings last year. Got a lot of innings this year is it possible he's getting tired. Now I don't really think he's getting tired and I think what happens to him the other day is that you know what -- good pitches they're gonna go through it he had he didn't have a from pitch one. And obviously he got beat up a little bit. But he also had to give Kansas city's -- Kansas City team. Some some credit too because -- that they're playing for pride and when you get a chance to place -- got a big guy like Jason Justin Verlander on the mound. They're day expectations are they gave up three runs in the first inning. They can impact the game but they didn't they stressed and they quality you know what they got to a really good pitcher. Feel like camp was saying Craig. You you look at the Tigers and you figure that at some point they're going to start playing really great baseball -- the White Sox won't. In the tone here has been that. Well here come the Tigers. Is it is it for people in Detroit kind of the same thing like where well. Resort to catch the White Sox and how do people up there looking at this race going out. What the way I look at it is obvious we thought that the White Sox would go away but obviously Robin venture has done an excellent job of getting those guys to buy into his system. -- and they are achieving at the highest level right now so when you talk about the expectations of the Tigers. We felt like coming into this season obviously you run away with American League's answer would have happened it's looks like it's gonna be at two dog race. AA you know what this team and talking to the guys in the clubhouse. Did the this team is ready for they they believe in what they're doing and they know that the capabilities and the things that they have inside that clubhouse. Are are are good enough to get at the top of the division. Greg last one for you when the White Sox get there tomorrow Jake Peavy will be on the hill what do you expect out of tomorrow's first game because I would imagine the emotion at the stadium. Will be very interesting for the White Sox to see it's going to be rocket isn't it. Oh it's going to be -- you can rest for sure that. They're gonna have to out compete this guy Jake Peavy is one of those guys and I had a chance to play against him. He competes and all time hot he demands so much from himself. You get it's interesting to see what kind of what Jake Peavy you're getting hit though because if you get the Jake Peavy. That is -- that's when -- he's stolen some really good at bats about the thoughts and really good sliders. And getting these guys that chased pitches. Then the Tigers are gonna have their hands full but if you get that other guy that's you know walking a lot of guys and and allowing guys to get on base and now they're able to. To get that one big hit to kind of separate themselves. It's going to be fun though it's going to be one of those things where you got this everybody's going to be excited I know I've got my seat belt strap on because I'm ready for fun weekend series. Appreciate taken time Boris we look forward to seeing you soon. All right thanks guys is Greg Monroe sex -- work on Tigers TV so there's the Detroit perspective. What do you guys expect tomorrow what are you really believe is going to happen. Well from the Sox standpoint they've got to play a little better I mean -- Our offense really as much as the pitching in the bullpen really kind of struggled in Baltimore they're often they -- much of anything offensively except for last night. Yeah they've got to get that going again AJ is in our intent upon going on now they're gonna have to score some runs because. Again -- the bullpen kind of shaky and you're putting a lot of strain on your pitching when your only scoring two or three runs a game. You know you can get five or six runs it gives that takes a little pressure off. So they're gonna have to I think they're gonna have to score some runs this weekend because I don't think they can count on. Holding down that tiger offense for three game. You can't and you know we get swept last time and so and that's not they need at least one game out of this very well. I think they might win tomorrow that's the game I would human. In that this overtly under thing the way they pitched last night that you really. Sign idea. That might be -- bullpen came -- those two guys it's like they did last time you. But I think it's going to be great series and in trouble causes so much the poster where -- -- this season and yeah this is not the season either way. You know whether you win all three lose all three years. 21 or whatever it's not the season is -- isn't -- Houston -- Great series mr. the last baseball yeah it's obviously one of three things can happen either they come out of it and it's pretty much exactly where it is right now. Or the Tigers take first place for the White Sox build a six game lead I -- that I guess depending on what happens tonight -- last night. And I mean it's an accurate to say about this last time they get swept in the trade the Tigers went in the first place right my game and -- -- me. Did callers also -- over. It and and and here they are they're grown and -- and the one thing I've been saying about this team that I like the most is that every time they've had trouble. Whether it be one big blow out game like the Addison -- game in Boston where they lost that and that was right for the Tigers series. Or whether they have a stretch of 345 games that they lose. They always come back from that respondent what they did after that was they want private well.
