I CSN Chicago knocked down. Bears insider John moon Mullin joins us from -- saw we were talking during the first segment of Mike Tice as a way. You know when things aren't going well early in the season this is kind of been a trend unfortunately. But he finds a way to kind of make some adjustments it's obviously needed right now and -- looks like the first steps have been taken in that direction. Heading in this Rams game on the offensive line. There one thing he has done over the last couple years since he came in as a as O line coach in 2010. It is is make changes a lot of them have been necessitated by injury. But you know if if something didn't work like. Kevin Shaffer moving to right tackle Kevin -- was a right tackle for I think about. Thirty plays and he was gone so it if something's not working they will change it they're not so eagle wrapped up in in in things. That they'll just stay with the with the situation just just to make themselves look right. I'm not sure the group Mike Tice is ever really been a big fan of Chris Spencer is not the physical kind of -- classy group that that -- legs. Salary Shalit is a 65320. Pound guard so -- theoretically you should help the run game. And -- -- -- are -- and unless silence at left guard alongside jamarcus riven. -- in the next I don't get to John -- Know there are a lot of folks out there and ran as the -- world. Can they keep running him out there what's going with Chris Williams. And really doesn't play a little earlier out there you talk about things are going to the course of the game. It wouldn't all of his shows a lot of the guys that are responsible semesters as well some things that you did well in the run game so you know there's a reason why you keep. -- the guys given that position given the opportunity to succeed I would imagine. Yeah I agree today and I I think and we talked a little about this I think you've been right after the game. Not to take -- -- to -- jamarcus swept to prevent. I think there are a lot of things one of the interceptions Jay Cutler had six seconds get rid of the ball I mean let's not all put all of this long. Jamarcus Webb beat -- the sack that Chris Spencer gave up was it was flagrant I mean he was beaten by Clay Matthews inside. Fast. So they're look at film. It and decide you know leave the city he didn't play well no one played well. But is in terms of who played -- left guard to left tackle excluded us out of the left guard was it was more problem at least at this point event and I looked at left tackle but I I would say jamarcus were better -- having a good two sack game. -- -- -- -- there when you think you -- you have to remember when they moved him for so which is you original position was with Seattle. They moved right guard another position you played it a bit. But now -- movement left guard there's a lot of adjusting going on inside there's that you know maybe didn't go as smoothly as they had hoped it in -- -- -- not sure. Exactly where he played for the 49 has put that as you mentioned the dimensions and the type regular attitude he brings to the table and that's that's what the look focused. I have a feeling that Mike Tice is gonna go back. To end the bread and -- And the bread and butter is not an up and punishing some people up front fund that would throw about taken over the that pass rush out of those defenders if you -- Yeah Yevgeny Richard action reporter barbershop he was a right guard at -- San Francisco. And I went back and found by the well put this up it's CSN Chicago dot com. He was once benched by Mike Singletary for going off to a missing a couple days of practice to be present for the birth of the -- Now it makes Mike's not a lot worse it really is he did miss two days of practice and Mike Scully wasn't up to speed on things that. Charlotte has some issues with our -- friend Mike Singletary -- about but he was a right guard so he also was trying to do position. I one final one from us here move before the skies open up and up there and got off Lake Forest but I'd Devin Hester. You catches in the opener he had the one thrown his way the other night. And he had managed to drop that that would have seemed to be the premium position especially if Marshall was being covered well. That's Devin Hester is the guy they could look for. Do you expect him to get a little bit more active in this offense I guess it's been the million dollar question a couple of years running now. Yeah it has -- and ethic. Pastor was frustrated music talk with him just privately. He was not happy that he we wasn't targeted more he had such high hopes coming in here. Even in the offseason some of the things were done out of sight of the media and so forth. To get him involving and create plays Mike Martz talked about Mike Tice was doing it and yet this the game plan has broken down or or something has broken down. Because it that's all you talk about all the weapons Earl Bennett. Brandon Marshall out challenger after Devin Hester whatever whatever happened here. So it seems that they've lost their compass a little bit in the games. Forced into a passes to go to Marshall. Forcing balls Earl Bennett there's there's they need to get back into the flow and Devin Hester is part of that has been all off season. Good thanks very much for joining us they'll continue reading on CSN Chicago dot com and god it -- guys open OK okay that's better right.
