Media day it seems like all the talk about the Bulls may be and are going to be that good everywhere we've heard speak is very optimistic. Definitely I mean we have a new -- not basically in town. With this is -- Marco Belinelli. Vladimir Radmanovic -- CB setter even -- both gonna see a lot of minutes is here. But it's definitely a different scene I think that. Some of the people's look gloom and doom there you were a little bit pessimistic in this thing was still -- post -- team. How good they'll be we'll see but when Derrick Rose returns you -- that's clearly would give them a boost. -- mentioned to Erik there just got done talking to the media he seems real optimistic he said a couple of weeks. He's gonna start cutting doing basketball kind of moves sounds to me like he's antsy to get back on the floor what do you what do you think we might realistically see him back on the court sometime after the all star break me he stated that he -- seem to get back on that court but I know the Bulls are going to be very Kostis and he's practicing paces himself. Maybe early march but you know this is just a guess nobody knows including Derrick Rose. Himself right now. -- you look at the schedule coming up after the all star like they've played Miami February 21 I kind of think he's got deck circle his calendar. Just a prediction here I think we'll see Derek back right after the all star break and also work harder than. There was some news today we've been -- days in the past you hear the same all platitudes MO we're gonna be good we're gonna play to our potential. Tom Thibodeau four year contract extension that was kind of hang it over this whole building I'm sure that everyone involved was happy to get that done. Definitely I mean using an -- so when you hear about a -- cuts or defense and this is sits the fact that -- got done right now surprised me that I thought it might drag out a little bit longer but at the same time I'm really happy for sits at the coast no one of the better coached in the NBA he definitely deserves it and the Bulls know looking forward who else you gonna get to coach this team that's an upgrade. And -- right you know it's interesting. All along our performance and say we're gonna get it done he wants to be here we want him as a coach but there was always that concern. Why can't they get it done they picked up his option for next season I think this is going to be a real positive for this team nobody works harder than Tom Thibodeau. Nobody gets his team prepared for each and every game like Tom Thibodeau I think through the cushion with Derrick being out the first half of the season I think the schedule is pretty favorable early tips as these guys perform at a high level. They may be able to get to the all star break with a better record a lot of people expect. Definitely I mean this is going to be one of the more prepared teams in the NBA we know that for effect. I mean -- lives you know as soon as he found out who was coming in the new guys he's been scheming and watching tapes of them in their old teams to find out how -- most comfortable with is going to be a defense oriented team obviously not the explosive talent their roles on the court but -- -- find a well balanced team. There's sneaks out some games against some of these supposedly upper Echelon teams. They made a lot of moves this off season. Let's get the fans up with some of the things that happen in the offseason Luol Deng of course played in the Olympics. He's not gonna have surgery on his -- he says it's feeling good and he feels like he can play a full season without any issues. Also Jimmy Butler is gonna step up he's a guy who they feel like he's made a lot of progress in year one to year -- he's going to be apart important part of that pension mop. And how -- joking -- He's been working hard in the summer and fall joke team work with Kareem Abdul Jabbar I heard he got a hook shots so we don't really see joking with the moves the local stuff. A joking he's kind of an old so I wouldn't be surprised to see him -- the sky hook now and then. But I think more so a lot of the confidence is really that is who was okay he's a confident player but offensively when he gets that ball in his back to the basket this is gonna there's going to be a lot more pressure on him without their provide the rim to score. So until he can be a more reliable guy in the polls but in the Bulls beat them as a matter. You know you terms of X factors over the course along 82 game NBA season I think Taj is gonna play a lot more this season I think they're good use -- at the center spot. At times with the second unit that Jimmy Butler is gonna be a big step forward. I think the Nate Robinson is going to be exciting off the bench so this team has the potential to match -- won't be the same but I think they'll be different I think they can score a lot of points I think they can. Pushed the up up temple office that think they can do a lot of things that way. My prediction I think the Bulls are gonna be NF 45 to 48 win range somewhere between 57 Indies what do you look at for X factors and give -- the predicts. Well first of my prediction -- -- is just not pick in the went 45 games I think they'll be doing the lowest seeded playoff teams know depending on when Derrick is back as far as expect -- -- -- you hit the nail on the head with size. It's gonna back up both Carlos and still came this season so he's really playing a lot of the point in the flat but I think Jimmy you know a kid that had a great summer league knows basement living in the hurdles and all summer -- things in the -- and have a big year and again Nate Robinson I think as the spark that son -- this season Watson instant offense type point -- I think he's gonna help. Lots of before we wrap up we should mention captain Kirk is back Derrick Rose just talked about the first time he went out recruited. You want to bring Kirk back he thought that value they were so well together first two years in the league. What's it gonna be like to have Kirk back and especially with their returns we will bring him off the back. Definitely I mean Kirk as a point guard he's as stable that he. He's gonna control the tempo and everything else when Derrick comes back you're relaxed and I mean he's starting caliber player that can play both of those guard position all of a sudden the Bulls who have some versatility moving forward. -- a couple of hoops junkies like -- -- myself we couldn't be happier.
