Now they've won how much do you think that's gonna affect -- that helps but the biggest thing that's gonna help recruiting is this facility right so 205 million bucks on the Lakefront its gonna be the epicenter of a football except for the actual games it'll still be Ryan field. And they're already well along 55 million gonna break ground in the in about a year and you know fit. Has that says it's going to be the best facility in the country. I've been organ but efforts from schools have some pretty good to USC has a good -- but it'll be one of the best tight so. This is the optimist in me but they lead in the fourth quarter of all three of their lots cracked. If they had found a way to wins came out and not saying the national championship but. But the only finish. Had they hung on and won those games where it they're undefeated they're not playing for the national title but is it. Insane for -- to sit in his office ago. I can win a national championship though it's not -- mean as he said he was sitting in the locker room and when northwestern was ranked third. In 1995. And the one loss that was what it was to Miami of Ohio and and those are players who. I mean at least the guys -- on the roster now we're -- three star recruits I mean way back in 951. Star nobody wanted to have those guys at all. And dumb yeah I mean he. If you're gonna look at the close losses that the losses they'll have to look at the close wins because it's not like all the wins they want by you know there -- -- -- -- Syracuse I want right Syracuse today in the mid Michigan State's but absolutely I mean it. The program keeps stepping up a little bit and there's this trend now where the school's academic level schools Stanford Mindy do or. People want those degrees so better -- he's gonna get better players every year. So it's not outlandish to think maybe now when -- -- vitamin B. Competing for this type of acclaim you're -- also look at it this way and it was a weird year because of Ohio State and Penn State did not not being eligible -- Wisconsin was the Rose Bowl with five losses you know. And played Stanford pretty well and had a shot to win that game weird things happen I mean northwestern has to have. More injury free seasons. Get a few breaks. And and they can they can have that little evident one seasons Jim Damian clowning style player who just he's okay it would take -- -- the smoke isn't good. You talked about the private schools and the success they had what is the relationship between the admissions department and athletics in terms of players that that qualify and get those kids -- I think that's. That's the bottom line is that she would private school good question somebody just. Mean that Bill Carmody and -- people that he didn't even he's not even allowed to talk to them that it's -- that separate you know that is solid Lou Holtz who would go down a bright knock on the door and they have wanna get Randy Moss in the school year and you know under me this uncomfortable situation. I they would -- he just because it went to school there and he's coached there for so long and the assistants have coached there for so long. They just don't even try to bring in kids who can't succeed who can't you know get a degree so they don't try to get the guys with a two point one GPA in high school which is good because. Yeah that's what about a -- -- -- right exactly he'd rather take a kid is less athletic with a great attitude great work ethic who they're gonna develop into. Quite -- Williams Tyler Scott you know all these players who end up being really good college football players. Mets that they -- football basketball -- here you are what you are when you become a basketball player yes you can develop if you're John -- and you can take the right but most of those guys pretty much -- if you're not it -- superstar -- -- player you probably won't be won in three years now football you can come in NB 65 Brian -- and at the end of four years or five years. Here like oh my good to lose a 180 pounds and then all of a sudden be the star -- -- -- -- all -- to get to light up that well right you you government offensive tackle to right -- and it's.
