In general what we all think yeah are we believing anti -- more out at this point. Also I watched the interview today -- -- way he key comes across as a sincere guy he really does and he has throughout his whole career Notre Dame. I generally think he was do I do I don't think he he was. And behind it at all I I really think heat was -- and he was embarrassed once he found though once the curtain -- did get pulled back. And so we try to perpetuate the lie he lied to his father about our relationship we have with the girl and who doesn't do that when they're young and now you've been stupid. It happens and I I think I think they should have done this a week ago when the story first broke. But I do think that they interview today he comes across as a sincere guy who is just terribly terribly terribly naive. Mark are you more believing I don't know what your original opinion was when this all busted ten days ago or so with the -- an article are you. More inclined to believe him now do you believe much more than you did. When the when the story first ran depending -- how much you believe the -- in the first place that old saying when you think you've seen and all of yeah. Really haven't -- wondering what's next after that were on that right now because this thing does everything keeps popping up every day now as a different twist about him. You know of course you looked relaxed you know over a week to prepare so. I still think there's more to this out there. -- you the same question just to -- my first of all you know your impression that he was in deep on this when the story first broke and has that changed now. Head with what exposure he's allowed himself to have over the last weaker so it I actually. Had the experience of meeting mankind -- family few years back and and then spent little time with them. Came away just remarkably impressed with the entire family not so much with him is his parents quite frankly he was a kid. -- and I think that's the operative word here Marc and I were talking about this comment. I never believed for a minute that he perpetrated the whole thing I don't see the tremendous advantage to him in doing that. I think if a kid who got caught wind was dead not -- -- anybody else and and god knows it was the stone age when it happened to me but that half and all of us you know. And to me this is as much another commentary on social media and every time social media gets this -- fails the test -- on. We've got now is the whole world going after this kid analyzing every word out of his mouth challenging his credibility with everything he says and does. He's a kid who was naive he was obviously very inexperienced than heterosexual relationships which makes sense if you think about his Mormon faith -- growing up in Hawaii in a much smaller market environment. The end and yet he made a mistake he he lied I guess -- drug in the literal sense of the word between December 6 in December 26. But I think there were -- -- -- of innocence and -- quite frankly I don't think he was out to hurt anybody I don't see how he's benefited from. Do you think his draft stock dropped initially and if so has it does it come back up with the way. He's expressed himself in the Jeremy -- and the Katie Couric interviews initially it did not because that was what we did a pro hopefully we started contacting every team every GM every scout we -- we heard him endlessly. That going into the Alabama again thought it was potentially a top ten pick coming out of the Alabama game he was maybe a twelve to eighteen pick. At some scouts actually said now they may understand what went wrong in the Alabama game for us on that respect maybe that hurt. What I think has lost in this though is that when he's inside linebackers get to the Senior Bowl which he chose not to do they get to become my. Inside linebackers -- get drafted as high as outside linebackers so I suspect he was always. In the eight to twenty range he's still in the eighth to twenty range he's gonna get more of a sight of -- no more -- mental evaluation as he goes to come by teams talk to him. But I haven't seen anything to suggest to me these interviews that there's psychologically any issues you're right I just think the kid is. Is being you know clobbered with us and and I'm not sure you know 121 North -- -- -- better any psychological issues of. Player might be with over my -- that and I'm man shall say it is one thing that. That this kind of stuck in my mind the last few days are -- when -- -- Korver came out last weekend and he held his press conference. He said Notre Dame to describe it investigation and they heard -- online chat among the perpetrators. He's perpetrators moral. What all we've been hearing last week is that there's been one guy behind us I'm wondering. But doesn't quite add up in my mind and some wondering what exactly. Did this Notre Dame investigation fine and he was there are. We know was there for the -- who. Who knows that in real quick -- the other thing that I -- no problem with his that there seems to be more empathy now toward -- But I'll think -- get raises a question now with Notre Dame then knowing what it did. Between December 26 from the start of the ball and how they handle that if they're saying themselves out to be. A higher than most college football powers. I understand why they didn't because of the. Traction factors but I was more disturbed by Jets -- this press conference and anything else I've seen in this all of that -- out he gave -- horrible either. But the the emotion and the dramatic pause in the almost brought to tears I thought he was out performing for for them for the dome more than it was from -- -- that's -- I came -- feeling about -- that involves testing laws nobody's talking about this great season they had. Nobody's talking about the recruiting class they're gonna bring in. We operate at least possible -- to the NFL that was kind of -- that kind of savior of the -- than they had it was the biggest one -- and I talked about this was that an agreement has anybody heard a peep out of Brian -- since this whole thing started to me that's inexcusable -- right and I didn't have a an opinion one way or the other about -- and I'm really -- now but his silence on the humorous statement saying I support -- entire what -- never heard anything --
