That diagnosis came last February while undergoing treatment in the summer call for help was needed for one delicate procedure. -- brother Steve. It was the right match stem cell transplant is taking some of Steve cells the cells that are in his. From his bone marrow and actually rumors harvested from his bloodstream. And given directly to bill. It's such an easy way to. Give somebody a shot at. Extending their lives not only that but but. You know living a long. Happy life and continuing and just as they are -- simply been tough for him to be so inactive and so. Denial I'm not only on the sideline with just. Out of commission can't leave the home campground people can't get sick. Very very active guy that's been tough. For bill sports have always then the spice of life a versatile all conference athlete in high school. And it Indiana University he was honored as an athlete of the year in a real sports. The 59 year old is applied the same focus and energy to his officiating on the court. And his twenty plus years as the youth athletic president in Arlington Heights. Now his talent is taking charge by making the right call. Helped supplement the high cost of his care there's fundraising. And of course there's basketball. He's been down for. -- -- Just for him it means a lot. And tremendous it would give a boost absolutely. Both he and his wife Kathy impacted my husband and I can help -- raise their children.
