I find it interesting how little is being said about Joseph Flacco. And the season that he's had an I don't know is he gonna you will use that as extra motivation and secondarily. If you -- pick your quarterback I'm what are your teams to play would you go Flacco or would you go with -- Well first of all I'll tell you this I think Flacco is a very unflappable guy he seems very impervious to everything that's going on around him. You know he's playing this season. On the last year of contracts of his have them enough motivation with that playing in his first Super Bowl lever. I don't think there's anything that could motivate him enough. I expect him to go out and play well you know he has played well I think in most big games he's hit a few situations where. His receivers have failed them more or things just haven't gone his way because of circumstances beyond his control. If I can take one of the two adult I think that would take -- and it just because of his ability to team with -- speed as well as his arm. You know right now it seems to me like he is kind of the state of the -- quarterback in the league. Everything is new with -- defense -- haven't quite figured out how to defend him they haven't quite figured out how to play the read option. And that he's got an advantage because of that it. Denmark and solace. Lot's been made about Flacco in the way that stretched the field they're Jim Caldwell but seems like Ray Rice to be that the X-Factor in this can. The Ravens win. Just stretch the field thrown deeper I know how does rice figured in all of us. Well I think they are gonna have to throw the ball to win gonzo because. I'll tell you I think -- has to really play the run that one of the things I love about this game is you've got two big physical teams. They're really like to -- the helmets and it's kind of a throwback game from that perspective you know usually I think at this time here we used to seeing. Games that -- quarterbacks and passing attacks that really can be explosive and come up big plays. Know there's a little bit of that in this match up 20 but I think in addition to that these are two of the most physical games physical teams in the league teams that like to run the ball stop the run. The -- play should be outstanding. -- -- which was a more gutsy call. Moving to Colin -- -- -- your team was rolling along with Alex Smith. Or having the got the fire not only your offensive coordinator but it extremely close family friend in Cam Cameron which guy had to make a -- your decision. Yeah I think it was a lay at the latter one cap and I'll tell you lie you know when you when you move from one quarterback to another. You could always go back and I think that was a move that was made from a position of strength they were trying to get stronger. You know where we're John Harbaugh was the point when he fired Cam Cameron. He was kind of desperate the team was struggling. They were in a -- offensively. And he was trying to do something that would really shake up the team there's a chance that could've really backfired in his face and they could have just you're out the Ravens would have been just another also granted there was a chance that who knows they could have even missed the playoffs but. The move it obviously ended up paying off big in and Jim Caldwell also very good things this office. You're also a guy who has been involved in in the rule when guys have been decided for the hall of fame or not. Selected to the hall of fame it seems like in baseball. When you hear of a guy using PEDs. All my goodness the outrageous unbelievable but any NF ballot you hear that an offensive lineman. Was taken TDs are like yeah whatever two big guys banging heads every Sunday. They why is that and B how would. PED use be affected for somebody as you looked at them as an NFL hall of fame candidate. Well you know I think we are as as hall of fame voters we are told to basically. Ignore everything except what happens on the field. Now obviously if we think that there is something to do with the performance enhancer that is affecting play in the field. We probably have to consider that if a guy failed a drug test for instance. But you know you cannot just kind of indiscriminately say you know this guy might have done steroids so we're not gonna consider him. I think there was a whole era of players who did steroids and if if you start picking and choosing one you have to throw the whole air out and I really don't think that. Any of us is in position to do that.
