And I know understanding getting superstar back from a coaching perspective relative to that. We finally got the two words have been waiting to -- for the last Marleau got that full contact but it's finally let the cat out of the bag -- Derrick Rose is now go through full contact practice and I think it's a situation now. Week something can if you if you take the count her out three weeks that takes in February 19 which is their first game after the all star break will be in New Orleans. We got here on Comcast sports that's a line effort there back then. I do that either didn't belong on and off the team keeps playing well and you see really no reason and maybe take another week or an extra two weeks -- -- -- they're going to be hard and fast date -- -- gonna do I think it's all about what Derrick is dealing with the doctors are saying I mean Jerry Rice was very outspoken saying that. He's got to get a 100% Clarence doctors have to put their reputations on the line to say that. Derrick is ready to play under percent and what we're seeing with Ricky Rubio and a much operatives. When they first come back to come back and restricted minutes limit fifteen to twenty minutes and you play five minutes you sit you come back the second half play five minutes. So even though it's gonna be great to see -- back on the floor. He'll be under severe limits restrictions possibly for at least a month or so do things different in the NBA comparative -- -- felt Potomac guaranteed money. Big investment -- Derrick Rose whereas in the NFL you talk about. You know looking at the next with Robert Griffin. When they rush him back you know as a base even though Robert was drafted I saw him as a base who you do your contracts and things are different mentality that. But we're protecting our long term investment arm -- compared to him for all these guys -- rushed back and feel like you Wimbley was no question that Derrick Rose is the face of the franchise it's not only what he can do on the basketball court. He's the key to their marketing he's the -- to all their strategy going forward so. Rubio is probably important key to him what the Timberwolves are doing but. We talk about Derrick Rose or so much that goes into it beyond what he contributes on the court. The Bulls know that hit his age at -- point four he's got ten years ahead of him so would be silly to try to rush him back. And risk the possibility of -- injury when you know that they've got a championship window going forward you think of at least three or four years where they can be one of the top teams in the NBA they're not gonna risk anything long term to try to maybe have a better chance this year -- title by a minute. Make a statement here -- has -- want to do our program at this. Tom Thibodeau will go down as one of the 345 best coaches in the history of the sport what he's done -- the government saying saying that. At this point may be a little bit but there's a possibility that if they win multiple titles he could be in that conversation -- should titles be the judge him but what a good coaches. Well look at the guys you would you look at -- -- winnings list -- see names like. Gene Shue or Dick Mata who you know -- -- many losing seasons as they had winning seasons bill Fitch is another one. Let us just with longevity. Accumulated all these victories. Professional sports is all of six championships and until Tom Thibodeau and the Bulls win some titles you can't put him in the conversation with Red Auerbach and Phil Jackson and even pat. They -- had the best players bill's dad Michael Scottie. Shaq and Colby he doesn't have the Jets don't want to take over a job like none this when their horrible -- go to Toronto. It's a great players this year -- -- -- not pulls out of fuel sources here without their gross. So. You know they should be one of the top teams in the league don't get me wrong I'm not trying to diminish what Tom Thibodeau is accomplished passes got a hundred wins. Best winning percentage I think of any coach in NBA history at this point. He's done a remarkable job and we all realize that they probably won more player to reach that championship level for Thibodeau this year ten games over 500. Third the game behind New York for second and he saw two and half games behind Miami for the top seeded without their gross. You know without with having some issues with the rip Hamilton being -- not know what you do to guard. Every night this team is is prepared. Third third the -- while they know what they're gonna do I think I think Thibodeau was just an outstanding coach he. Does he burn out before he gets there a guy wound as tight as he is and as. The half the ethic that he brings each and every day it's not the kind of guy that's going to be a terrific coach for ten years and only get the tank's empty five before you answer that today's day list. Puts in perspective what -- talking about -- this shows you what Tom Thibodeau is doing that some of the best coaches. They're -- they're great superstar it's not Derrick Rose Thibodeau let's say 645 winning percentage stretched out Phil Jackson be without Kobe Bryant. 646 -- percentage -- with and jail and a 588. Clip. Gregg Popovich 55% of his games without Tim Duncan Pat Riley went 54% of his games. Without Magic Johnson -- still some interesting numbers there. Got to the point it's you need those superstars in the lineup I mean you can say those numbers and kind of take them on a vacuum it's like. A status on the other day with the Celtics are better without Rajon Rondo in the last few years than they were with them -- crazy obviously they're better team. When Rondo is on the floor sometimes numbers can be a little bit deceiving -- getting back to an air with sand. But the burnout factor a lot of people like to compare Thibodeau to Scott Skiles because they're driven. Perfectionist type of coaches that really kind of great on their players over -- time. But I think -- with with Thibodeau. He's more of a humble guy you know Skiles always. Present yourself what the smartest guy in the room -- is the guy wants to roll the sleeves and go to work he wants to break down more tape he wants to do more preparation. You know he's not married. He doesn't really have a lot of hobbies outside of basketball and I think he's very comfortable with a -- I don't think he's much about -- burn out risk of Skiles who didn't really like the mentality of today's players. And let it kind of drive himself crazy. Thibodeau likes his players he loves working with Joakim Noah and Taj Gibson in the summer they'll spend hours in the gym and even though. He may not show to the media -- personality he has a way to reach today's young player that I think some of the coaches that are burn out candidates don't have and I think that's what some of those guys kind of fizzle out.
