Transcript

I'm Patrick Mooney and Dan Hayes with a double play we're talking story lines for spring training Patten started Cubs was the biggest thing to be watching when you get to mesa. What'd I think with the Cubs since day one Theo Epstein took over Matt Garza he's been the biggest question kind of hang over this organization and now you're looking at him recover from that right elbow injury hasn't pitched since last July. He's really that short term asset on a team with a real long term vision we'll back in September. That clubhouse is already wondering whether or not. You know the problem is gonna be sellers again at this year's trade deadline they know they have to get off to a good start. And so much of that is gonna start with a healthy Matt Garza being a front line pitchers they think he can be. And pitching well against the White Sox video you -- there. Hot candidates what are you looking for from the White Sox sent us a lot of issues that both teams but what are you thinking specifically what are you really. Focusing not as you get to Glendale. This week I think they'll start to begin her all starts and ends with John Danks I mean you're talking about a -- -- guys come in this is got -- extended 65 million dollars or five years he's limited in nine starts last year. And how he handles this rehab and if if he's back. Does this team with four very strong starters with Gavin Floyd -- Jake Peavy Chris Sale and and John Danks. So then you can kind of mix and match the younger guys from time and San Tiago. If he's hurt they're kind of scrambling and you know it's a big deal so I think that's kind of big story yeah Alex Hall felt last. -- the X-Factor was going to be peavy I've seen this year the X-Factor for the White Sox and our rotation is John Danks thanks guys.
