This class gets it they get -- and it doesn't defensive lineman from California is another spot start players so. Not over yet. They've got a pretty impressive haul for the top spot Paul nationally. A lot of the guys that can actually cinched up before -- mile pocono and then got crushed Alabama. LeBron it's Matt -- -- -- coming -- 9495. To Europe. Recruiting process you got a phone call you got a letter from Notre Dame it was the greatest day. And L we get back to that point where if Notre Dame contact you do it this is a national player again you have to listen. Not so much Notre Dame and it just another top program that makes any sense I mean date. They went twelve game to market senate. I think it in -- Kelly said the day eat into -- went to Greg -- an actor and killed by start guys may not have considered Notre Dame before that. I think it opened the doors I don't think players get. Not the back I by Notre Dame just showing up and and sort of know a whole lot about. You know the past the aura. History. You know that the program that went twelve and -- this year. Not -- a lot. And send guys to the pros. So in that. They probably are starting to believe that a lot more like. The other top programs in the country I don't know cricket match or urgent that -- this is another program. That's winning at a pretty -- problems on the place of young guys in -- -- got a pretty good platform. Hey Brian it's said he was Brian Kelly more wary of he commitments this year -- -- go more after players who he was extremely confident he'd hang onto. Yeah he kind of alluded to a little bit which is funny because it may. The commitment from Alex and Bologna. Glad committed to Iowa State -- committed from Iowa State committed to Notre Dame and an incident prank -- Eagles slipped and decided earlier -- Florida so. And that's what five star -- a real high level guys that they took a gamble -- Knowing that. There was -- that Florida tied at -- tied down there that was tight end game that would have been a battle the end so it certainly aware. Patient with him Brian Kelly talked lot about today about. Maybe -- ground work with some of the other guys in the class swear it wasn't as uncertain that it was last year but -- that they said every class. Because you're dealing with 1718 year old. Does get the chance of a guy or maybe you guys hugest. Make your decision that you can't count on. Laying out what the commitment to Notre Dame this year maybe -- more clearly -- -- before. Bounce one way or the other did you have to make a couple of calls to immediate and all we've been referred to it. Yeah I think someone asked -- about it earlier -- arsenic can really hear the question very well but I think that sort of came up early on it and what. He told them. After the Eagles dalliance and I guess he just sort of credited you know it was up front. Maybe were not Leicester Wellemeyer or are you an honest eaten at. -- that profession they they gave them an honest answer this is what I did and this is what I play and Duke. And obviously handle -- guys. They didn't except -- -- in my mind maybe possibly just looking -- -- -- to go to Florida at that point. Confusion -- but yeah I think they feel pretty good about the chance with him and he. He's kind of got -- Alabama assigned to spot start defensive line prospects. Notre Dame needs more. How leveled defensive line prospects nearly any last year they don't get any better does this year. They don't get any -- and Brian Kelly starts talking about keeping pace and closing the gap Alabama. That's where it starts you gotta get elite players up front every single year. You've had enough well late night so with this team that this school at this university what's another one for.
