What's the buzz like in Chicago over this much anticipated game into the return for the Hawks to Chicago. Yet it's been pretty day day was long two weeks on the road and you know a couple that with the lockout -- Blackhawks fans only see these guys twice. So far this regular season they're very excited and especially the way his team is playing right now they could've gotten home fast enough they're showed out Tracy is very. An unheralded hero on this team so far because we talk a lot about Kane and Toews and the goalie Corey Crawford has been good so he's been getting some attention is somebody. That we are overlooking that is a big part of things for this team. I -- you know that's not to say I mean it that is the one thing that I can say about these Blackhawks so far is it really has been such a team. Oriented game that they have played and sad day you know may be I guess not much of it as an individual like maybe special teams especially that penalty kill I mean. That was a category to be so bad. For them last year and death. You know they were letting in goals left right sideways and then on the other side they could -- -- -- -- -- -- -- to save their -- -- But you know maybe it's it's more that intangible and obviously it's a big one. But other than added it's just been obviously became the phases than Roberts of -- So much attention because -- really have been so noticeable but does special teams has been huge for them this year especially after last year. Does -- some more about that Tracy earlier in the show I mentioned the penalty kill that was some of the Blackhawks went into the season they wanted to improve on that greatly because they've been in the bottom five. But the last couple of seasons what's been the difference on the PK. I you know it's asking a couple guys that myself earlier today and tell a lot of -- just talking about the positioning is better. It seems like there -- things are better. And I still think that -- one -- being on the same units are as many switcheroo is there anything had gone the same guys because they're working. Any guys know each other this year last year there is still a lot of uncertainty. Still a lot of turnover with this team coming off their second year after the cup. And so now these guys have a feel free agent they know each other's tendencies. Whether it's it even strength power play or penalty kill and I really do think that helps a lot and once again go back to Crawford for goalies stop and if it does. At your -- -- helps a lot on the penalty kill your goalie Mason's days makes the they've been there everything is what is better. Tracy what -- -- around the organization about. Patrick came because we mean he was the first overall then he's been a terrific player for the Hawks he's been hard. Of luck cup winner already during his career had some of the off ice things and I'm not -- one of overtime but it was a young guy maturing and he seems to have maybe taken things. To the next level this year what does -- organizations feel about. Patrick Kane right now. -- other level what he's doing on the ice and -- you know I could never find out for sure but I'm sure someone. Talked with him quite a bit after that last incident BSE go to bio. Last may because says we're seeing a very focused. Very driven Patrick came right out and end this game always did come first for him there's no doubt when the season started up. He loves this game loves being out there and perform in the league has -- This time it's it's really something special and I talked to him about it the other day I -- life. Is this start is so much better he's always been a pretty good starter and he said you know there's been games in the past right have a great game -- made -- that next what I thought I -- -- Back it up a little bit or take it easier maybe not taken as seriously as he -- going in that game Nady had a great place so there's no doubt his focus is fantastic. Nearly part of this season. Tracy one more thing everybody talks about it in hockey one of the big cliches first game. At home after a long road trip could be a trap game do you think if there is a lesser opponent tonight. They be more susceptible to that but because it's one of the best teams in the Western Conference -- really tell the Anaheim Ducks team the Hawks could be ready to go. I yeah I agree with you and especially because it like he said this is a very good team their first two home teams our first home games I should say we're against division opponents and with Detroit and Saint Louis surely gonna get up for those two like death there's no doubt about it that it -- this team in general. It's just so much more focused in and it's unbelievable the difference between last year and this year. And lash your would've been more concerned about it okay how they would react coming back -- like. And like you said this a very good team that they're playing against and they realize. -- -- they really did overall on the road they just played a very simple that's simple game that everybody talks about playing on the road they took my other teams gave them. They have had a tendency when they come back here to get looks fancy fancy that they said that's the last thing they need to do when they when they come back home beat these guys or anybody else that's my. Tracy is very -- on the show enjoy the game tonight.
