Welcome to the Walter Payton -- Lewis along with moon Mullin and we set our first opportunity to me. I'm not just we talked to mark trust him we had chance to meet with some of the new assistants and tourists -- assistants were retained. From the Lovie -- staff of both on the defensive side of the ball but let's start on the defensive side of the ball because a lot of people. Know that the Bears had a lot of success. Under Lovie Smith now they have a new coordinator and Mel Tucker we did get confirmation of -- 43 team in March -- -- went so partisan there's not going to be a lot of change. On the defensive side of the ball Mel Tucker said they're actually taking a lot the same terminology so it's gonna be interesting to see how they work in that the new coaches with the system. Yeah you know I think it's a great point characters so often are so many times we've seen in an improved recent years here -- Mike -- stands out. Keisel to men and their they have their system and they're gonna jammies pegs into the whole work no matter whether it's not. And I find it very interesting there's not a whole lot of runaway ego guys were saying I think we're gonna play in my system. And their their complimentary of what it was before and they say we're going to just build on that. And you say they're gonna keep some of the terminology. The scheme is going to be the same is going to be up the field attacking scheme and they're basically saying it's not broke why would we fix it in my current collective after. I think people say well then you why change defensive coaches -- a bit killed the new coaching staff will bring in new things I don't think we're gonna see the Tampa -- I don't think Brian Urlacher is back we'll see him. 25 yards deep down the field. So that doesn't mean it can be the exact same system but to get take a lot of things that work they'll add some of the things that they they did and of course I mentioned Brian Urlacher and the that was one of the topics here mark trust and said he did speak -- them had a good 3040 minute conversation. But no one knows what's gonna happen with him. No I think it's I think it's probably is bigger franchise question current conclusive as even Jay Cutler because 'cause we know back. Whether he's back beyond this year that's another thing that. Brian Urlacher is the trees are in the second best linebacker on the team so this is not just in the community to say what you know what used to be but -- still a very good player. And I thought Phil Emery was very complimentary adoring history when hiring mark trust and what's I believe is gonna happen is that they're gonna put put a reasonable offer after the wanna keep them. He still fits the scheme they know they're not gonna turn -- breaks into a rush linebacker or look for these guys. To play possessions they have so he may not be the thirty yard on the field -- but the scheme has worked and everything I look for them to try to keep him. And we do know that they're gonna have some decisions to make I think we're gonna have a pretty good idea of an understanding at least of how they. I'll evaluate some of their current players because Henry mountains in -- free agent there is a free agent Israel Idonije. Yeah Brian Urlacher. Nick Roach -- guys that are key contributors on the defense aside the ball. And they have to figure out okay well what order we them for these guys and I think Henry mountain at the top of that list. He really has to be an especially if they're talking about playing one gap scheme. Henry Melton is a quick up the field tackle if you don't get Hendry Melanie got to go it go get ahead and don't say much and try to keep the when you've got. It's not going to be cheapest tackles who can rush the passer -- premium. But he is you're -- it's a great got to pick because he really fits in mobile fast defense and that's what these guys -- around. It is just the beginning of the changes a lot of changes out here outside around -- and certainly changes on the coaching staff and probably pretty soon. On the roster as well that does oppressed he's -- and hitless.
