Again what do you think is he going to come back at some point this season. We're all speculating here based on those words but he says he's not ready yet. You know I thought it was a very encouraging signs today that he went out and played five on five I think I think he is going to come back this year I think he should come back this year. It's crazy not to come back here. You know if you're a competitor. And you want to help your team win. You're gonna play this year if you Derrick Rose because you're healthy at some point if you're not healthy enough now. He certainly going to be healthy enough in the very near future the injury doesn't take that long to come back from. -- then you've just crossed the line. Overweight people will lash out in their protective instinct. Of Derrick Rose and say that you cannot tell player win to come back from an injury -- and now you're you're -- -- assume that ten months might be reasonable amount of time. Threw for a player to recover from an ACL well you were writing us here but wrote the comparison to Michael coming back from a broken foot. It was a great comparison have anybody who it was eighteen games and really played during the regular season. I think it was more of a situation where the doctors in the team reluctant Michael felt fine the doctors and the team reluctant. This is Derek those saying that his body still isn't ready shouldn't you believe. The athlete himself that he's saying he doesn't think he can do it the right way or will he wants to. I think I think that Derrick Rose. Has since -- mixed signals I think that he said you know he wants to come back. And they said that he needs to be a 110% he said he wants to come back committee said that. I could miss the season and he said he doesn't know he's gonna play and he's a five on five practice today. You know I think that there are a lot of people. Who have Derrick roses here right now. And I think that he probably has been talking in a way that reflects a lot of those comments. I don't I'm not consider presume how well he feels no I'm not saying that we can tell him when it's time to come back. I'm just say it until we know more. It's not crazy to sit here and say would then just said where I just roll the that you know -- It's been ten months -- it's OK if we can wonder. If that's the reason a lot of time to come back to an injury for a competitor. Who really just wants back there maybe got the Derrick Rose were used to seeing refining the role figure it out. Did over psychological hurdle while his team plays their butts off. Because they were thinking in all season long but you know they're walking through that door -- in this season might be able to mean something that's. I think those are two different things I don't really say I'm not ready it I think that when he said I'm not ready yet it he left the impression. I might not be ready til next year but he still wants to come back that's his goal to cut back but he's not comfortable with it yet. And I think the other thing that cut the statement that was interesting to me she said why can't I can't dunk yet. You have to dark. You know you can shoot you can drive you could lay the ball up. You can do everything that he's edgy still he said no that he doesn't want to change the style you -- you want to be the same player that he was denied once again why. Well why don't you adjust you know what great players do they just Alter their careers things change. In your career you have to find ways to adjust and overcome things in. You know your body changes the competition changes how teams scheme you change you have to keep adjusting that's what makes great players great hybrid that. If he doesn't want to have to change the type of player that he is and the other thing that I thought when he made those passes I wonder if it's possible that he was trying to take a little pressure off. That there's been so much scrutiny every day about why does he Adrian Peterson and actor to -- and they and they -- Peterson comparisons. Maybe he said I can't I maybe I won't be able to come back this year. We'll take a little pressure because he hadn't really thought any of it and he wasn't talking yeah but I really -- you hear what ever I mean this group wrote that surrounds when he think he felt -- do you think he felt pressure from the Bulls. I think it's I don't know because -- the -- the Bulls haven't done yeah -- the Bulls haven't done that but they also have not been. Then they have been very respectful of the space but they have not said anything that would lead people to believe that he wasn't coming back this year I think. He's Johnson pointed out that on January 7 car said you know -- expectation was as far back as January 7 that he will be back this season. They're operating on the assumption he'll be back this season. Do you think that him coming out and talking about a last week had anything to do with that may be. And and I guess the other thing is when we. We don't know when ready comes if he is in the upper eighties right now who knows maybe this last. Ten or 12% or whatever it is comes within the next two weeks especially after doing some 50 -- you're anticipating. Sitting out a season. Why would you be on the court playing five on five today for what you play well and I'm sure that -- -- trying to test not whether you -- these people come back willing close that gap. The other factor is too I think bit. Without -- for most the year I think people thought that this team wouldn't be quite where they are I think they've over achieve their. To this point in the season so that might have also cause some pressure from the Bulls. To say it may be you know hey Derek we're we're played pretty well right now if you come back. This isn't a wash here we have a chance to do something in the post season. I think we did talk about well I've heard from some people and it is not real popular I -- I get it but some people would just like they're cruised to say guy who's been a tremendous hometown. Humble hero. So you know I wanna be back on the court on the do whatever I can get back on the court this season because it matters to me he has said that though in so many words.
