From the NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis this Mullin CSN Chicago dot com Bears insider Peter King longtime NFL maven for Sports Illustrated Peter. You have seen over the years mark freshmen were in the NFL. Oakland San Francisco that he goes to Canada. Any sense of what he will bring with you -- what would agree with the Bears. In my opinion. Any offensive player please for the players. Is now going to believe that. My head coach is thought of everything. Because that's the one thing no matter where he coached it's one thing you knew -- He had the ability to instill the team plane and confidence. In his offense so I think. When Jay Cutler gets to -- I'm sure they will butt heads a little bit because that's just the nature Jay Cutler reason he's strong you know strong willed guy. I've seen that in negative since a lot of quarterbacks -- that. But we Jay Cutler gets in on my bed by mid season. He's gonna say you know when I get that game plan faxed to media Tuesday afternoon or emailed to me whatever. I'm gonna look at and say what they thought everything this week whether it'll win I don't know but I think. That -- instill the confidence. In his offense that knows a lot of what he's doing. You and meg not sure the and going through all the guys to kick coverage were definitely meth capital might be the first. Quarterbacks coach he's had who has -- Cordoba former quarterback and is that -- do you know you know -- the -- -- with with Brian Billick. Again is that something that really reinforces to me stronger as well. I think the one thing that -- non. That nets. That the players little. World like about Cavanaugh. Is that he is taking crap. You know and he's going to he. Acerbic. And you know. He will -- he will sometimes. You know sort of out tough. Cutler in terms of his opinions about things here or you know. And so I kind of thought that was a good match from you know somebody who can you know go head to head you know -- I like that I like that hire like that higher for this offense because first of all. The Jets will tell you -- mean that guys who didn't capital we'll tell you he's a good teacher position. And I think that's one of the things that's good and I think that you know the fact that he's tough he's gonna take any nonsense -- thing to. Give this hundred no bump that he hasn't taken either as a coach or as an older players ranked in everything from from from plateau in two on day one since there. I don't remember now how was it. Well -- unfortunate the last two years which with a foreign policy so he probably like to forget those two and everything was over a pro receiver relate to see -- cup. I'm excited AA you know I think it's gonna be fun this going to be a fun team because obviously it's gonna be some transition what happens Urlacher. You know what what happens you know here's some here's some -- and that defense purely and keep mountain I mean I'm I'm interested. And seen a team with a new coach. And the second year general manager really start to try to put their imprint on a team that. Is you don't have a lot of established. Players. So and a lot of players who love their head coach to. I think that's going to be a fun part of it to see how that -- adjustment period things after they win ten games. -- is never easy and should be they should be able to win ten games they'll be talented enough to win ten games. I just thing I think a lot of this is going to be. You know the ability of Cutler to take in this offense. And to play the offense well early. In their ability on defense. To this day. Good enough to play some very good offensive teams and explosive offense teams. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Peter -- sports Sports Illustrated them a moon Mullin CSN Chicago dot com Bears insider.
