People look at that you know we're gonna give him the benefit of the doubt -- so it's his body knows what's going on with his knee he knows what he's ready to get back on the floor. They just can't wait to see -- player that gets the real frustration he's entertain fans in Chicago for so long people are really missing that in the bulls' team right now is struggling. Well the other injuries that the deal with that they really need a boost. Of course there could provide that if he was ready to go. Then you know and it felt that if she says mark. Because I've. And physically he's ready to go and mentioned his knee I don't even think it's about the -- I think it's all up here and he's got to somehow become mentally tough long enough. To -- don't go put in these ten minutes twelve minutes a game seem a live game action feels like because until he does that. He's not gonna feel right he's never gonna get to a point where weeks of Marino's hall -- feels great college golf. Derek even if he's not feeling right get out there and help this team out that you know. Really seems to be gasping. Go down because of injuries. Right now the point guard position is being manned by Nate Robinson who really is a bench guy a -- off the bench he's not a point guard and in nineteen year old rookie Marcus -- got she just turned point. But those guys are not gonna give you NBA caliber point guard play they need Derrick Rose. In the worst possible way not only is he one of the best players in the league but right now they just don't have a functional -- at the point guard position they're missing Kirk Hinrich badly. And I think that some of roses teammates are probably saying. The least privately we really need job here you know why can't you provide us whatever you can give us and you know there's got to be some frustration within the team but they have such a high degree of respect for Derrick. And always accomplish it young it's like you mentioned they will never publicly said anything to answer. The mark I think you make it a good point that this is kind of been likes two weeks the Super Bowl hype that's just waiting and waiting and waiting and you've watched him. He's gonna come back maybe play ten minutes how long's it gonna take for him to get back to a full game for Derrick Rose and then how long's it gonna take the team. To make that transition of being used to having him back on the court has been a different team without emphasizing that Ricky Rubio had a breakthrough last night yeah it's gonna mention the Ricky Rubio is almost a year removed from his ACL surgery had a triple double last night and he looked like -- -- -- some of the moves he put on yesterday against San Antonio Spurs. But he's a different player than there you know he's got to realize. And an MVP level at a top ten player in the league level and realistically. Anyone at any level come back from a serious knee injury like this is gonna have to go through the process you gotta get ready to play. And you gotta go work off some of the rust -- confidence in that -- again. And I and I think -- being maybe a little bit too hard on himself to think that I've got to come back and be a star right away the Bulls would gladly take him ten minutes to have been able to run the run the offense and maybe score and you know 1012 points in. Sit and you know you just addressed it a -- Derrick Rose may cut more on that medium one game and Adrian Peterson cuts on and the red -- Season so that that's one number two he's unique kind of player he's not like Ricky Rubio. -- the injury into the way he got the injury it was unusual I mean he didn't he got that injury not just. Jump stop and not just jumping. He tried to cut while stopping and Jon letter we -- yet and then say you always wonder including himself wonder if he's gonna have that ability when he comes back. My question about Derrick Rose is. If you don't bring him back. They are other Bulls to contender if they've if he comes back and are they contender if he's an 85%. Because to me this guy's this guy is -- franchise. I think the biggest reason for bringing him back to Spurs own peace of mind. Let him get ten to fifteen games in one or two rounds of the playoffs depending on how far they go just so. He can go into a summer program and training camp next October knowing that I did that I've played 1520 games. -- -- held -- -- start to get my timing back and now it's all positive next year can be all about try to work acted at all star level that we're accustomed seeing Derrick Rose play. As far as being a contender. You know this Bulls team I don't think I don't think the front office really felt like they wouldn't be considered going into this season they knew that -- is gonna miss. At least half of the season probably two thirds of it. And they looked at the rest of the roster with that with the cap restrictions they had they weren't going to be able at a major piece. Now going into the playoffs they could be anywhere from Fort -- seventh seed even with Derek in the lineup the -- the chances of them get in that conference finals and given Miami a battle over seven games. Are pretty extreme I'll look at the Bulls are now as a team that if they get Derek back. -- Kirk Hinrich and Taj Gibson healthy. I think that they could win a round or two but to think that they can beat the Miami Heat as their constant right now I think is unrealistic and Eric is a season ticket holder wants a deep run -- -- -- right I you know it just gets back to it. -- that it's the same thing if the doctors say the knee is sound now and he's not ready. It's not like. Next you're doing so next year they're gonna. Well he's gonna play ten minutes to have these gonna be rusty. We'll see Woody can do those excited see him back on the court the -- You get your number one back on the floor and going to be fun to watch him play again expectations be very low as you mention if you decide -- -- -- -- need six more months to get ready to play NBA basketball again.
