St. Rita wins big over Leo

Can someone say repeat? Tonights St.Rita-Leo game was almost a repeat of the 2008 matchup between the two teams.

The Mustangs of St.Rita held the Leo Lions to just one touchdown in both games.

Freshman Danny Greaves kicked things off for the Mustangs with an 85-yard opening kickoff return. The Lions followed up shortly after with a 16-yard touchdown catch by Kerron Bragg.

On their second drive, the Mustangs were held to a 37-yard field goal by Nick Goldsmith.

After getting stopped on their (Lions) second possession, Leo would never see the endzone again during tonights matchup.

During the second half, John Kelley of St.Rita marched into the endzone with an 8-yard quarterback keeper for the touchdown.

St.Rita never looked back and went on to beat the Lions 31-6.

Mustangs head coach Todd Kuska received a reward of his own--he is now the school's all-time leader in wins. Tonights game was Kuskas 134th career win surpassing Jon Cronins record at St.Rita.
