No team in baseball has hit on more high draft selections the last half decade than the Cubs.

The team currently has on its 25-man roster its first-round picks from the 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 MLB Drafts.

Javy Baez (drafted by Jim Hendry), Albert Almora, Kris Bryant, Kyle Schwarber and Ian Happ all are seeing time for the 2017 Cubs, and all but Happ had a huge hand in the Cubs winning their first World Series since 1908 last season.

"The scouting departemnt really should feel great about themselves," GM Jed Hoyer said. "Not many teams hit on five in a row like that, and us hitting on five in a row is a huge part of why we won the World Series."

Pat Boyle took a look back at the Cubs' recent draft picks, as well as talking to Albert Almora and Jason Heyward on what they remember from draft day.
