ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Blackhawks said they recognized the urgency thrown at them after a poor Game 3 performance. They had to work harder. They had to be better.

They weren’t.


Michal Handzus hasn't scored a goal since Dec. 27, 2013 against the Colorado Avalanche, but he snapped his goal drought Friday.


The Minnesota Wild weren't off to an ideal start in Game 2 on Sunday, recording just two shots on net throughout the opening period against the Blackhawks.


The same thought went through many of the Chicago Blackhawks following their Game 1 victory over the Minnesota Wild.

They kind of got away with one.
