Bubba Watson channels his inner Hawk Harrelson on the golf course

If Hawk Harrelson was announcing a PGA event he probably wouldn't have to yell "stretch" when Bubba Watson stepped up to the tee box.

Watson, a two-time Masters Champion and known for some of his mammoth 300-yard drives, borrowed a catchphrase from the legendary White Sox broadcaster on Thursday afternoon.

During the opening round of the Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands in Connecticut, Watson let out a "He gone!" after ripping a perfect shot down the center of the fairway.

It's no surprise to see Harrelson and the sport of golf linked together once again.

From his $570 career-earnings while on the PGA Tour from 1980-81 to often being credited with inventing the batting glove by wearing a golf glove, Harrelson will forever be connected to the golfing world.

Hawk also put a few Chicago sports legends to shame with his golfing attire in this picture.

Maybe Hawk can bust out that outfit and partner up with Watson for a foursome in the near future.
