Carmel Catholic junior offensive tackle Sean Foster, ranked as a four-star recruit by Rivals, decided to end his recruiting process Sunday and gave Minnesota head coach Jerry Kill his verbal commitment.

"I committed today to Minnesota," Foster said. "I chose Minnesota because it felt like home."

Foster, along with his family, made a recent visit to the Minnesota campus, and that visit played a big role in his decision.

"When I went to Minnesota with my family I just had a ton of fun with the players and the coaches. I had a great time and so did my family. I was waiting to make my decision until I found a school that fit me the best, and I found that at Minnesota."

Foster was one of two offensive tackles the Gophers landed Sunday. Three-star Sean Schlueter from Mayer Lutheran High in Victoria, Minn., also pledged to Kill and the Gophers.
