CLEVELAND - It's safe to say that halfway through the regular season, neither supposed Eastern Conference power -- Cleveland or Chicago -- is where it envisioned it would be.
Seems like just about every major national basketball publication and website has the Bulls and Cavaliers penciled in for a late May series to decide the Eastern Conference championship.
The blueprint for the Cavaliers’ overtime win on Friday night against the Bulls was laid out by first-year coach David Blatt at an emotional team meeting earlier in the day.
After the Cavaliers’ season-opening loss on Thursday, LeBron James said he was relieved his second Cleveland debut was over so that he could get back to “regular basketball.”
