The regular-season games are dwindling, as are the Chicago Blackhawks’ chances to grab home-ice advantage in their likely first-round matchup with the Colorado Avalanche.
The Blackhawks and Avalanche appear destined to meet in the first-round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, but where that first game would be played has yet to be decided.
Only six games remain on the regular-season schedule, as the playoffs loom in the not-too-distant future.
There will be a Stanley Cup defense this postseason.
