Despite having what was by far his best game of the 2019 season, Chicago Bears QB Mitch Trubisky is still receiving some pretty harsh criticism following his team's 31-15 victory over the Washington Redskins Monday night.
Former Minnesota Vikings and Hall of Fame WR Cris Carter voiced his concerns about Trubisky on "First Things First" Tuesday and suggested that Matt Nagy is restricted as a play-caller because of his quarterback's inconsistency.
"Trubisky still has me nervous," Carter said. "Regardless of what they say in the press conference, I can tell how much confidence the coach has in the quarterback based on when do they throw, where do they throw, and how often they throw. Are they attacking the field?"

Carter compared the way the Bears manage Trubisky to what the Chiefs do with Patrick Mahomes and said it's obvious Andy Reid has no concerns or worries about his quarterback being able to deliver.
"No, that's not what I see from Matt Nagy, who I believe is a really good coach, and a good play-caller, who is restricted based on the inconsistency of Trubisky passing the ball."
Talk about a buzzkill.
Through three games this season, Trubisky is completing 65% of his passes for 579 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions.
