Cubs Road Ahead: A busy slate upcoming at Wrigley Field

The Cubs are clicking on all cylinders right now, having won 13 of 16 games since the All-Star break, and it comes at a great time.

After winning four of their last five games on the road, the Cubs return to Wrigley Field this week as they welcome to town the Arizona Diamondbacks and Washington Nationals, both of whom sit above the North Siders in the National League standings.

Jon Lester, Jake Arrieta and Jose Quintana are slated to stack up against Arizona before a three-game stint with Bryce Harper's Nationals that could serve as a good measuring stick.

"These guys, they have arms, they have offense," CSN Cubs analyst David DeJesus said. "This is going to be the big test. This could be one of the first round (matchups) in the playoffs. It's a big test in early August."
