Jameis Winston at Aaron Rodgers' level? Bears Eddie Goldman could see it

Bears nose tackle Eddie Goldman saw Jameis Winston when the two practiced day after day at Florida State and on game days that reached all the way to the 2014 BCS National Championship and on to the draft’s first round when they were two of four Seminoles selected in the first 39 picks.

Goldman knows something about Winston, starting next Sunday for Lovie Smith and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

And he knows something about Aaron Rodgers, having faced the Green Bay quarterback twice in Goldman’s first 11 games. And some of what Goldman sees in Rodgers, the elite of the NFL, he sees in Winston.

“Jameis has the potential to be what Aaron Rodgers is,” Goldman told CSNChicago.com. “But right now, it’s Aaron Rodgers on a different level. He’s going to go down as one of the greatest of all time. Maybe in time Jameis will go down as one of those, too.”
