Joey Cora reflects on Michael Jordan's spring training with White Sox

Former White Sox second baseman Joey Cora took some time to reflect on Michael Jordan's run through spring training with the Chicago White Sox earlier this week.

Cora was in camp with the White Sox during the spring of 1994 when Jordan entered the organization with professional baseball aspirations. Although Cora and Jordan were never officially teammates, Cora did get a chance to see Jordan's competitive side and what it was like to play with the most famous player in the world during that spring.

"I remember how I usually was the first one in the clubhouse and usually the first one in the cage," Cora said. "And when he got in there, I wasn't the first one anymore, I was the second one. I'm always going to remember that because he was Michael Jordan."

Now a manager for the Altoona Curve, the Pittsburgh Pirates' Class AA team, Cora was a player with the White Sox from 1991-1994 and returned as a coach from 2004-2011.

You can see more of what Cora has to say about Jordan's spring training in the video above.
