Kahlil Bell named one of Chicago's ‘most eligible'

Being a professional athlete has its perks, for Bears running back Kahlil Bell, his status has made him highly sought after in the Chicago singles scene.

Chicago Magazine named Bell one of Top 20 most eligible singles in Chicago. The 25-year-old, who grew up in California, talked to the magazine about what he's in the market for.

"A well-put together woman with drive, dedication and ambition. Someone who is as focused as I am; someone who is willing to make the sacrifices to get where she wants to be."

One of Bell's conversation starters is his "moves." He told the magazine that his classmates voted him best dancer.

The former UCLA star was signed to the Bears practice squad in 2009. In three seasons with Chicago, Bell has rushed for 557 yards, accumulated 137 receiving yards and added a touchdown, playing primarily as the team's third-string running back.

But, Bell doesn't want people to think of him as just a football player.

"Most people see what I do for a living and assume that's all that I am. I am blessed to play football professionally, but I like to keep an open mind."

This isn't the first time a Bears player has cracked the list of most eligible singles in Chicago. In 2011, safety Major Wright made the list.
