Lovie Smith moving in as head coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers puts at least one very interesting new matchup on the Bears’ 2014 schedule. It may be more than one.
One year after being fired following a 10-win season with the Bears, Lovie Smith has found a new home.
The change from Lovie Smith to Marc Trestman saw the Bears dip from 10 wins in 2012 to eight this season, one of only two teams to post a lower win total with a new head coach in 2013.
The news will be when a player states publicly that he does not want to be back with his current team. All that accomplishes is shrinking the player’s market by one. So, predictably, D.J.
