This weekend of Chicagoland high school basketball is a little quiet since last weekend was a game-heavy, three-day weekend.


It's a great list of conference matchups and some non-conference punch in this week's edition of "High School Lites" headlined by two battles of Top 25 teams.


Besides the state playoffs, holiday tournaments are probably the best time of the year in Illinois high school basketball.


Now that Thanksgiving events have died down and the normal scheduling of the regular season is underway, conference races will come into focus between now and the holiday tournaments of December.
