Griffith, who played defensive back last season, was rumored to become the Caravan's quarterback this fall. Griffith has over 20 scholarship offers from Power Five schools across the country.

IMG Academy, which is coached by former 13-year NFL quarterback Steve Walsh, was the eight-ranked high school football program in the country in 2015, according to National High School Football's final media poll.

IMG Academy plays just a regular-season schedule against powers from across the nation. They are not allowed to participate in the Florida High School Athletic Association state playoffs. IMG Academy draws students from across the nation and has become a hotbed for Power Five-caliber recruits over the past several years.
